Can someone give me some perspective on this?

I really need some perspective on this. This has been getting to me for years, but only now am I really addressing it. I consider myself an attractive man with a good build. I work out with weights and look pretty athletic. Here is an example where this gets kind of crazy. Before getting ready to go to a club or anywhere there will be hot looking women, I will see myself looking real sharp and attractive. But as soon as I enter the venue and see a lot of these women, my anxiety kicks in and so does the intimidation. At that point, I feel like I go from a 9-10 down to a 6. I literally see myself as an unattractive man. I even perceive myself as being skinny, even though I weigh 240 pounds of muscle. All my friends say that I am an attractive, well-built man. It seems that in the venue where there are women, I am the only one who doesn't see it. This has really affected my game and I know that it has to be a psychological disorder, but does anyone have any insight on this and what I could do to get over this?

Sounds like you need help on your inner game. Try neuro linguistic programming (NLP) if you haven't already.

I would suggest NLP: The New Technology of Achievement. Great book and will help you not think so down on yourself.

Thanks, Hobbit and Jax. Your information is helpful. The links you have are gold and I will be sure and follow the principals. Also, I went ahead and ordered the book that you recommended, Jax. I heard that good things about it.
