Because you're in a real situation that requires from you to progressively develop all kind of qualities.

Also, having kids and taking much more responsabilities makes you grow up and gain in experience which at the end and step by step make you more grounded and stable in your mind.

Also, the fact of having a wife and kids that love you is comforting and it's rewarding.

Not only will you have to face reality and deal with all its practical aspects and issues but you will also benefit from having a household and a family you can rely on and share moments of your life.

The best way to become a man is to launch into that real journey and deal with it from scratch

I have two problems with your post:

1. The idea that marriage is the be all, end all and the complete indicator of manhood is a socially constructed phenomenon. In reality, however, what may be right for one person is not right for another. Proponents of social constructivism will argue that things, like marriage that are constructed by society are not actually natural. In this instance, it isn't exactly natural to be married to one person for the rest of your life. Society has constructed you to believe that that is how you should live your life and that is the definition of manhood. So, your idea of what is "real" is completely false.

Stop being a whiny mama's boy
Move out of mama's house,
learn to do your own laundry,
learn to cook for yourself,
make your own bed,
pay your own bills,
invest, make money, lose money,
Go after the things YOU desire.
