a dumb question, but I'm clueless about it

So I'm 16, and have never had a girlfriend, so I don't know the whole process. I don't understand how you make it official. The term "asking out" is, I assume, when you start a non-platonic relationship with a girl. I see all these "together since 10/5" or "9.9.07" and I wonder what it takes to make it official. Like, what do you say? What do people mean when they say "I'm going to ask her out."?? (Not on a date but start a legit relationship)

just man up and ask her out, ' lets go steady' or something like that. the worst that can happen is she says no or ljbf, its not like your walking around for 2 weeks in a too too with nothing else on u. just think of it that way

I see you learned nothing from EasyLover and JustinCredible's post to you. You CANNOT just ask a girl to be your girlfriend or Go steady with you.
I suggest you get some reading material like Juggler Method, Mystery Method first or the Game. You've got to get your skills and inner game together first man and that's going to take some work. Look around this site too.

If you've built enough confort and attraction, what you say doesn't really matter. You can be as blatant as possible. I've even used"will you be my girlfriend?"

asking out USED to hold meaning. But it is a standard now and the entire point of being a PUA is to stand out from all those other 1000 AFCs. You are different and so the standard rules don't apply. (Does that make sense?)

She asks you "When do we start the "we are together" clock?"
You can say "You were mine before you even saw me. You were mine before you got up that morning. But for ease we will just say *her date of birth*"

Dude your 16. By the time you are 20 this girl will most likely be a strung out coke addict with three babies and an unsavory case of The Clap. High school girlfriends are nothing but drama, but if you feel like you have to take the plunge do yourself a favor and don't make her friends with all of your buddies. It'll make it easier to dump her when the crazy makes it appearance.

if youve developed enough attraction and comfort then it doesn't matter what you say.

do what i did next time you talk to her instead of using "when the next time we're gonna chill" or w/e use the word date & see how she reacts or throw around the word boyfriend somewere(make sure your not being transparant though)

He means its not as bad as you think it is. Ego wise. One thing a pua needs to develop is to not care if she destroys your set.

LJBF is the 'Shit, where did i fuck up?' phrase.
