This works for me anyways.

Before you go out to your sarging-location or whatever, LISTEN TO HARDCORE RAP/HIP HOP/CRUNK. I found that some of the extreme exaggerated confidence that radiates from the rappers hinges on to you, and you get in a kind of a "Im invincible!"-mood.

Try it out :)

whatever works best for you dude....

music is my life and I used to listen to Hip Hop (both UK and US) and even wrote my politics dissertation on Hip Hop music and its cultural affects in the USA....

i now listen to dance music (techno trance breakbeat dnb etc)....

maybe it was just a natural progression....but I found that I was an angry little shit when I listened to HipHop. I cant explain what the cause-effect relationship was exactly. it may have been i was angry (lots of childhood shit) hence listened to HipHop as it rung true with me, or may be the other way around.....

But my point is since I digressed from it and found dance I have been alot happier. this obviously is due to me facing up to and handling alot of the things that made me a little shit. and Ive been happier and more successful in my relationships with girls and people generally. I still love alot of Hip Hop and it influences alot of the music i listen to now....but for prepping for a night out it has to be dance for me.

my point i guess is give electronic music a try too guys! there is so much out there with all the genres and sub genres.....and there are no better places to find woman that night clubs where dance music in playing!!!!!

Sorry dude, I totally disagree with you here. I like to listen to some electronic dance music or good trance. Dirty Dirty Beats FTW!

I'm not really a believer in pre-sarging rituals anyway.

But whatever works for you.

Hehe, my favourite genre is actually also in the electronic - Im talking Electro House, dubstep etc.

I'm sorry if I didn't make myself clear when I said "hardcore". I'm talking shit like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0pdzJCyNY-0

May not be so hardcore, but have a listen :)

But ofcourse this trick doesn't work with everybody :)

Personally I can't stand rap/hip hop/any variation of them. For me, as a rocker, I like listening to something like AC/DC etc and listen to some awesome guitar solo's to get me in the mood, or even play some of my own guitar solo's.
It all comes down to preference, do something that makes you happy or whatever then go out.

Yes, but my point is that you probably shouldnt listen to Tracy Chapman right before a party if you want to get in a nice confident mood :)

Another benefit of listening to rap is that it makes you have better rhythm. Having better rhythm in general translates over to being more socially suave.

This obviously will be different from person to person as we all have different music taste, but using a piece of music to pump yourself up before going sarging is something I'd heartily recommend.

Personally, I listen to 'Bullets & Octane - Pirates', just as I'm dressed and ready to leave (complete with trashing of arms, headbanging, running around my apartment, throwing myself off the walls etc) to get nice and geared before sarging.

chief your avatar is mesmerizing ...

rap does kind of work for me but the moment i step out of the car and go about my business ... it crashes down. cause' when listening to rap your hearts pumping, your minds going in different directions..... so when you take it outside .... your heart beats increased

I think The solo of Stairway to Heaven of Led Zeppelin might suit you then.Yet that song completely is gorgeous.

yeah I agree. Im actually more of a rocker myself but rap really does a good job of boosting my confidence and putting me in a good state of mind. My personal favorite is anything by Micky Avalon. It's the fuckin cockiest music there is, stuff like the song my dick. lol.

I get the same thing, songs like Ante Up by MOP or anything excited and aggressive helps but I've never actually taken the time to listen to it on purpose before going out, I should try it out.
