The Importance of Sleep (CANT stress this enough)

I can't stress how important sleep has been to me for maintaining state. I am by no means a pro, but I know this much: getting a good night's rest is CRUCIAL to maintaining a positive, friendly, SPONTANEOUS mindset.

Consistently, I have been able to talk attractively to women of (almost) all calibres when I've had 8-10 hours or more of sleep. On days where I'm barely keeping my eyes open, every conversation suddenly becomes a huge battle, and I'm on the losing side.

When I'm sleepy, of course I'm cranky and of course I snap at things at times. But I don't always feel the tiredness of it, and its during times like those that I make my biggest mistakes. I go up to people and I start talking to them, and in mid-sentence I forget what I was about to say.

One of the ways I normally operate in conversations, is I start saying something before I know what I'm going to say. Usually, something clicks and I come out really funny and attractive. Or, 10% of the time, something comes out that's at best neutral and at worst insulting or creepy.

When I'm sleepy, the creepiness multiplies exponentially, and all of a sudden I'm saying stupid creepy chodey things 96.3% of the time.

This one time I was sleepy, and I was in the first class of the new semester, and nobody was there except me and another girl who I was teasing and DHVing. This other girl walks in, and I call out to her and say, "Are you the professor?"
She says, "What?"
I hesitate.

And she gets insulted. Even hesitations can be insulting. They make you seem like you actually mean what you're saying, even though you don't.

Now I'm almost afraid of going out when I'm sleepy. I feel SO STUPID. And this isn't just with the girls. Even when I'm hanging out with guy friends, I feel like a douchebag or a retard, and I say things that I regret later.

Lesson learned: I'm going to bed now. Take care guys ;)

Good point, I agree with you totally man. I can attest to this being in Afghanistan right now and barely getting much sleep. There are women here too and I find myself saying things that are confusing without getting much rest.

Doctors say that without 8-10 hours of sleep men start behaving much like a patient of alzhiemers.

i got a sleep disorder ..... i get 4 or 5 hours sleep a day.

i totally fucking agree with all this, sometimes i don't go out sarging because i know im tired and things will fuck up.

Personally I find 7-8 hours of sleep is just about right, any more and I actually feel more tired.

Quality of sleep is important too. This can be improved by regular exercise and not drinking alcohol.
