I'm new here, so going thru this site and others on how to be a PUA, it is almost overwhelming the amount of information, tips, strategy and moves that are deemed necessary to "get the girl." There are just so many steps to the "gameplan" that will make you nervous for the fear of forgetting one the "crucial" steps while involved in a set.

For this reason, I suggest that you first should develop your inner game before even thinking about any formula and all that. This may seem like an obvious statement to some of you, but I'm seeing too many guys barreling in here with "tactical" questions.

First of all, you have to know who YOU are. Do you like who YOU are? Do other people like who YOU are? You have answer these basic questions and lay the ground work for any "tactic" to really pay off consistently.

Every "Artist" whether it's picking up girls or playing the piano had to develop the basics first. The only thing in my mind that separates the men from the boys is WILL.

What are you WILLing to do to get what you want? If you are not willing to analyze and scrutinize yourself, how do expect to get in any woman's head, let alone her pants.

Ok, enough bullshit and on to the point.

Stop thinking about your fears, rejection, getting laid, pick-up lines, peacocking,etc...and just....

F**KING ENJOY LIFE!!!!

It's been said before on this site, but it needs to be overstressed. If your reason for coming to this site is simply to improve your chances of getting laid then you've missed half the boat.

Coming to this and other sites made me realize that all the guys who got all the chicks, regardless of looks, where the ones who -- F**KING ENJOY LIFE!!!

I don't care what you have to do, but you have to get yourself to the point where you are living in the NOW. No pick-up tactic in the world can beat a ALPHA MAN who is ON, IN STATE, and in the NOW. Once you crack that code then women will be naturally drawn to you.

For Example: In my AFC days, when I first met my two best friends in the Army here in Germany, they took me out to a disco my first night in country. Both of them are shorter than me, skinnier than me, not as good-looking as me etc..

So we walk in and these two run sets on every HB in the club with reckless abandon. I'm sitting back thinking -- THESE GUYS DON'T GIVE A SHIT! AND THEY F**KING ENJOY LIFE!!

Yea, they got shot down at first, but when the night went on, all the hottest girls, after getting sick and tired of all the AFCs trying to pick-up on them, remembered my two friends and how they --DIDN'T GIVE A SHIT. When my two friends went back to the HB9s&10s who shot them down earlier, they were all over my two friends like stink on shit. My jaw was on the floor in total shock because these AVERAGE LOOKING guys were tounging down (and eventually F-closing) Russian and German HB10s while I, the BETTER LOOKING guy got one number from some whack HB5.

So, in closing, develop your inner game and BE the MAN before tackling the outer game, because once you believe inside that YOU are the SHIT, you won't even need half the stuff on this site because it will naturally come out of you.

that's so true... now you may look at some of my posts and it may make me look unsure of myself but seriously I used to be the most insecure kid in the world ... I couldn't even look somebody in their eye which girls were very not attracted to (I still managed to get a couple hot girls attracted to me but imagine if I was fully confident in myself!) I used to always look down.. then I get a job as a sales agent and I had to make conversations with people and get them to switch their energy company and how did I do that?? With confidence... once your confident with yourself and you deal with alot of people alot of this stuff will come naturally to you.. Once I become confident I started talking to alot of girls at bars and clubs ...got shot down by each one and not in a nice way ... girls would laugh at me I had no idea how to approach.. one girl told me to fuck off once .. But now I can easily go up to a group of girls and be myself my witty goofy self and they like it and I'm not all that good but I'm getting better..with this rate and all these PUA readings I will be good in no time.. So go out and accomplish something that may give you confidence or just highlight your characteristics.. I did really good in school, I am a bad ass drummer , I look at myself and think I'm good looking, I work out... all these things make me confident and know I'm the shit and girls can read it.. confidence will be written all over your face girls can tell when your insecure no matter what.. so develop your inner game and you will naturally improve and read this site and you will improve even faster!

Well put and so true. This is the precise reason I joined the forums.

A strong inner-game facilitates the outer-game. Their are a lot of guys out there pulling gorgeous women who don't analyze the game the way we do. These guys are NATURALS. And they are naturals because of their inner-game.

Develop this and the rest, in my opinion, will come more or less naturally.

Improving inner game is one of the hardest things to do but once you do - it's incredible. Because once your inner game improves, your outer games improves, and once your outer game improves you get more confidence and from then on it's gooooooold.

I forget the EXACT quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson, but the message is still basic. Be yourself, but always be able to see yourself as others see you. No amount of put on confidence can substitute for the real thing. I support this post 110 percent.

OT: I recommend anyone wanting to work on their inner game to take a look at Ralph Waldo Emerson's work. Some of his quotes are HIGHLY inspirational for me.

Yeah, inner game is probably still something I need to work on. Sure, I can go out and try to force myself to talk to chicks but I won't get anywhere because forcing myself makes me feel stressed and insecure. There have many times I ejected myself out of clubs/pubs because I was applying the pressure too much. And because of that I felt totally uncomfortable, totally out of place, like I was a thorn in a bunch of roses. But when I let myself releax and just concentrate on having as good a time as I can without necessairily interacting with women, I felt much more comfortable. I enjoyed myself dancing, and girls came up to me and said I was a good dancer. One time, fellow males were trying to imitate my dance style. And one time, a chick actually picked me up! Sure, she wasn't a HB10 and she was fairly 'intoxicated', but she was a lay gained from very little external effort on my part.

So, yes, maybe what I should ensure I do is make sure I am happy with who I currently am. Yes, I am not this PUA master who I'd like to be, but that doesn't mean I should get upset and frustrated. If I'm confident on the inside enough of time, that's bound to reflect on the outside, which it does sometimes.
