| I got a request to discuss the topic of self-hypnosis and how it is a powerful tool for redeveloping our inner-game, so here it is. Self-hypnosis is a form of meditation. It is the art of slowing the mind, going inside, and reprogramming our otherwise automatic subconscious behaviors. There are many different methods. This is just one with a focus geared toward pickup. I'm going to demonstrate how to create a pickup model and reprogram all of your behaviors through self-hypnosis. All it takes is your will and intent to do it. It requires you to confront your deepest insecurities, delete them (akin to "wiping your hard drive"), and then upload a new model. We are going to use the meta-model analogy and think of our minds, for our sake here, as simply complex computing machines running elaborate programs. If you can understand the digital analogy it shouldn't be too hard to follow. There's three steps to this method of self-hypnosis: 1) relaxation, 2) visualization, and 3) calibration. Most PUAs should be well familiar with calibration, but maybe not relaxation and visualization so much.. Here's what I mean, it's an exercise and it must be practiced regularly to be developed.
<b>STEP ONE: RELAX THE BODY.</b>
Take in a few deep breaths and take a minute to relax your body. You can be sitting, laying down, it doesn't matter as long as you are relaxed and comfortable. Practice both ideally. If you get good at this pretty soon you'll find yourself doing it automatically as you walk about during the day. Anyway, you begin by focusing on your breath. Breath deeply. Breath slowly over longer and longer periods of time until you slow your breath to a nearly silent inhalation and exhalation. If you can actually achieve silence while breathing you are indeed very relaxed. Now I'm going to include here some Chinese Qigong (pronounced "Chi Kung") as it relates a lot to this subject and can help the practitioner understand the process better. In Qigong there is a saying. It goes: "The Yi leads the Qi." Qi, pronounced "chee," is an energetic essence that is part bioelectric and part something undefined. When we relax our body we are going to flush every cell with this energetic force by focusing our intent. Here's how.
Now that you've taken a minute to relax your body by breathing deeply and slowly and focusing on your breath, you are now going to shift your focus to your feet. Focus on your toes. Imagine that water is pouring in through your toes. Become aware first of the surface of your skin at the bottom of your feet. Don't move your attention from your feet until you begin to feel them tingle with energy. What you are doing is focusing your Yi (wisdom mind) to lead your Qi (bioelectricity/energetic essence) to your feet. In Qigong it is said that we have two minds in our head: a fire mind and a water mind. An active mind and a passive mind. An emotional mind (Xin) and a wisdom mind (Yi). The goal of Qigong training is to tame the emotional mind with the wisdom mind. The emotional mind is likened to a horse or ape that must be tamed. This is done with the water mind, the mind of wisdom. The way this is done is by focusing one's intent to move the currents of bioelectric energy throughout the body at will. It is said that you are a general who must direct his army. You (the will, intent, focus of consciousness) are the general and the army is the Qi in your body. You must direct the Qi in your body by focusing your ATTENTION to a specific portion of your body. What you are going to do is slowly MOVE your attention once you have directed enough energy to that party of your body. When I say energy in this case, I mean Qi. It is the bioelectric current that stems from your nervous system that comes from your brain when you make a decision to say, move your finger or lift your arm.
So now that I've gone over some basic Qigong theory, let's return to the relaxation exercise. You were imagining your body was filling up with water starting with the feet. Remember this "imagining" process is very important. You need to have a strong imagination to make this work. If you don't. That's okay. You can build it and this is what this is for. We begin by visualizing in our minds that our body is being filled with water. But not only that more importantly to properly relax the body you must place your attention to the actual sensations of every portion of your body beginning with the feet. Now that we've focused on your feet long enough and really got the energy flowing in that direction, slowly lift your awareness and focus a little higher to your ankles. Visualize, imagine, and FEEL more and more water seeping into your body... slowly it is rising, up your shins, in your muscles, in your bones. Try to focus a flow coming from the core of your bones, to the muscle, the fascia, the flesh, the skin, out to your hair, your nails, and finally you should eventually feel intense heat being generated from inside your body if you do this correctly and it will flow a few feet out around you. This is your energetic aura. You might not be able to see it but it's there.
You are going to continually raise this awareness up your body.. to your knees.. your thighs, etc. Slowly bring up your awareness of this water seeping up your body now going through your groin and waist, your hips and buttox. Focus deeply on the base of your spine and try your best to imagine your spine filling up like a thin but long jug of water. Now as you reach your abdomen pay special attention first to your inner small intenstine, imagine a great ball of energy engulfing every crook and crany inside your guts, every spiral squishy part that's inside there... water is engulfing all of it... FEEL IT. Now allow this water to come up your arms and chest.. the fingers, the hands, the forearm, the elbow, your biceps, your triceps, shoulders, and shoulder blades. This whole time your spine should have been a prime focus and your whole back should be relaxed and flooded with this intense energy. Your whole body should feel as if completely submerged in water except your neck and head. Now slowly fill it all up, up the throat, filling in the chin, the back of the head, the nasal cavity, out to your cheeks and face, eyelids, your brain, focus on filling up your whole skull with this sensation up to the very top of your crown. Bask for a minute in this pleasant state. It's pretty nice. The more you practice the better you will get at it.
<b>STEP TWO: RELAX THE MIND/VISUALIZATION</b>
Don't let your mind go wild. This is difficult. It's about discipline. You are going to find a center and relax your mind. It's not about thinking about nothing. It's about just being in the moment and appreciating the present. It's good to be alive. Reflect on that for a bit. If you can't it means you are insecure about something. This is where this challenge begins. You will notice your mind is restless. Why? What is it that has your attention going this way or that way? You long for something. What is it? To be complete. What is it in this moment that keeps you from being complete? The answer is nothing. You are complete and whole right now at this very moment. This is the base meta-model of understanding your reality. We are going to move step by step and work through what I call "truth statements." These are statements we hold to be true about something. We give them a value of 1. Then there are false statements. We give these a value of 0. Like binary code. In your head are a bunch of presuppositions, assumptions, that create our models of reality or "frames." If you could look at it like a text of code it would look something like: 11010001100100101111011000101111001010. That is an inconsistent set. What we want is: 1111111111111111111111111111111. That is a consistent set of models that makeup a larger meta-model.
So basically what I'm teaching you so far is how to meditate. We haven't even got to the self-hypnosis part yet. Meditation is where you begin. Self-hypnosis is where you begin to reprogram. You are going to hypnotize yourself so-to-speak on things you want to be hypnotized about. Hypnosis just means to induce a sleep-like state or trance in which the individual has a heightened state of suggestion because the unconscious mind has been accessed. It's like running DOS and learning old legacy code to hack into the core of a computer. You are now in a state of heightened suggestion. Now you can reprogram yourself to do whatever it is you want to do. To give an example Olympic runners were told to visualize themselves running. They visualized step by step every motion, every moment, from the beginning of the race to the end, visualizing themselves winning and everything. This was done in a study and they found that the same portions of the brain fired when they did this during self-hypnosis as did when they actually ran. This means that the brain doesn't actually know that it's not running. It still acts like it is running because the person is visualizing and imagining that he/she is actually running. The brain doesn't know the difference. Your reality is literally what you imagine it to be. You might say your imagination is more powerful than you can imagine.
Another example. The Blue Angels also perform a visualization exercise in a small room before every show. These are top F-16 pilots who can't afford to make a mistake. They sit down together in a room and go through every movement and procedure literally with their eyes closed using self-hypnosis techniques. From take-off, to each flight ROUTINE, to the final landing and approach. They testify that if it wasn't for this visualization process they wouldn't be so on key and accurate with everything they do. This is the power of self-hypnosis. You are going to visualize yourself doing a task you want to do. When I first started this I wanted to learn to play guitar very well. So I played songs in my head. From start to finish. Every note, from beginning to end, I felt my fingers touching the strings, I saw myself performing, I saw myself succeeding. Whatever it is you want to do, the more mechanical and logical the task the easier it is to program. I'd imagine you could learn to clean and assemble fire arms, fly a plane, sky dive, or anything else if you knew how to break it down. You could do a million things with this skill. As for PUAs, you are going to install the PUA model very slowly and carefully by seeing yourself doing all the techniques one by one.
See yourself opening, cold-reading and transitioning, DHVing, negging, qualifying, kino escalating, continually calibrating her comfort, seducing her, and finally the full ecstacy of success. See yourself doing it all from start to finish. Feel what it feels like RIGHT NOW to have that success RIGHT NOW. What does that feel like? Good doesn't it?! Feel that right now, there's no reason you have to wait for happiness. Get that into the core of your model. Be happy NOW. That's how everything changed for me when I began this so many years ago. It begins with beginning your day with a smile and telling yourself "I'm going to have a good day today." If you don't do this, you are not setting this frame for yourself. If you do this, your subconscious mind will begin to pull things around you that do in fact make you have a good day. This is where it begins. Live in the present moment and find the goodness around you right now. Find that happiness inside yourself and you will never have a need to have it outside of you. You won't need anything because you'll already have found everything you needed inside yourself. Now that is what I call Inner-Game.
The real details come when you get more and more field experience. You'll catch your mistakes quicker and calibrate on the spot. Then you go back into self-hypnosis and you have more images to draw from and more situations to work with to build that imagery. Where you will really need to spend a lot of time when you begin this process is ironing out ALL your old memories from as far back as you can remember to the present. If you want to be 100% and get everything you can out of yourself and squeeze every resource of potential your mind can grant you, you will analyze your whole life as a sequence of events that happened logically one after another leading to where you are now. In this process you'll see that you never made a mistake. You only learned and calibrated. There are no mistakes only lessons learned and this is the best example of that. Once you install the PUA model you'll figure out what you did wrong in every previous situation and upgrade your game overnight. You'll calibrate much faster this way.

DHV on these 3 things: 1) Preoccupation, 2) Preselection, and 3) Leadership. Say this outloud, "I am a preoccupied, preselected, leader." When you're meditating and in a hypnotic state just think of all the things you have already said in your life, from your experience, that fall under these categories. Set them up and associate as many routines as you can with these categories. Build as many DHV routines where you FTC ("I only got a minute but.." "hey real quick-" etc), talk about your many girlfriends, and how people follow you everywhere (a natural quality of a leader). Understand the importance of A2/A3 and the game of qualification. See yourself not showing interest until she's earned it then rewarding her with an appropriately UNIQUE compliment. That's all the verbal stuff.
Then make sure you get the nonverbal in there really well. As a matter of fact I recommend all newbs begin with nonverbal skills before verbal skills. Focus on your walk and swagger before anything else. Walk like you mean it. I tell everybody to watch Cesar Milan's "Dog Whisperer" show until what he says really sinks in. Learn to be a pack leader. Make this the core of your body language. When you get yourself into a hypnotically suggestive state see yourself walking in the attraction location, the venue, and feel the vibes going your way. Run the sets and focus on your body posture and showing disinterest. I don't think a lot of newbs understand disinterest should be your default badass cocky/funny mode. You should always been in a cocky/funny disinterested state. This is passive game mode. When you find a target on your radar your state will change to active game. You are still in a cocky/funny disinterested state. Only now we have movement. You're taking aim and traditionally you go straight in to disarm all the obstacles. If you don't have any interesting esoteric information to share that is going to enlighten your audience you can always go in with bullshit. If your game is tight it really shouldn't matter what material you use. All that matters is who's leading the tribe.
Anyway that's enough for tonight.. er today rather... handling AMOGs and isolating are obviously part of the model. Everybody keeps asking how important it is to get the Venusian Handbook. It has the model I am describing. Does that answer your question? Take what I just taught you with self-hypnosis and read that book and upload the model inside that book. You'll be gaming properly in weeks the way you always wanted. Most guys aren't out to conquer every woman they see, they just want someone they can relate to in their social circle. But for some of us we find it difficult to stay so grounded when every so many weeks we continually upgrade our social value by increasing our skillsets. Anyway its all part of the game. O ya I almost forgot to mention step three!
<b>STEP THREE: CALIBRATION</b>
This is something that is going to happen in-field. The more you use your self-hypnosis techniques the more access you will have to your subconscious mind while in a normal state of wakeful consciousness. So when you're out gaming at the club you can instantly remember that one time you did that one thing and it didn't work.. So you definitely have to try something else. Try this. Do it now! Bam you just calibrated... did it work? Compare. Contrast. Analyze. Reformulate. Rehearse. Perform. I'm a performing musician. There are 3 things I have to do to prepare for a show. I have to: 1) Practice, 2) Rehearse, 3) Perform. The same could be said of the Venusian Arts. You have to practice learning new routines, probably just by figuring out what would be interesting to say from everything that you have already learned in your life. If it's something specific like palm reading, you'll practice by learning the categories or responses you can cold-read her about, etc. You can do this all in a normal state of wakeful consciousness. Then you rehearse your material. Traditionally this is done in normal wakeful consciousness, but it's slow compared to when you do it in a relaxed hypnotic state. So during self-hypnosis you rehearse ALL your routines and material you got. It's all about REHEARSAL. Rehearse rehearse rehearse!!!
The key to good rehearsal and preparation is tonality and expression. Once you rehearse everything in a hypnotic state, when you rehearse it in a wakeful state it'll be 10 times easier. Now when you do it in a normal state focus on speaking deeply from the gut making your vocal chords vibrate as deeply and closely to barry white as you can. Practice this as much as you can. Get the deepest tone and vibration you can out of your voice. Then learn to speak slowly, patiently, you got time don't worry, most importantly speak with a rhythm. Like. This. It's. Okay. To. Speak. Slowly. People. Will. Listen. Learn to be talkative. Speak your mind. As you do this you will be challenged to clean up your thinking (not in terms of sexual connotations) but in terms of not DLVing.
If being talkative proves to be a challenge because you DLV too much it means you haven't worked through your insecurities enough. Go back to just meditating and appreciating the present moment. What you will notice if you speak your mind well tho is that you are connecting your conscious mind with your subconscious mind that most people rarely become aware of. You get tons more information to work with and if you thought you could never be creative and witty you'll see all that was stopping you was some patience to listen to what your mind was already telling you. This is why I write so much and why people get pissed at a lot of things I say. I'm just intune with that rambling voice inside.. and as long as you can bring him on the outside and let him hang.. a woman won't care what it is you say as long as you lead the way.
