Hi, I am an AFC and new to this whole thing, one of my biggest problems I guess has to do with self confidence, low self esteem and such.

On the relationship side, I am in college now I have never had a girlfriend or even kissed a girl, my attempts at those were few and far between, I remember making really good friends with a girl online, but once she met me, she disappeared completely. I guess that affected me more than I thought. The next few times I hit it off with a girl but didn't pursue it further, I never saw her again. And one more time I had a few more chances to approach a girl in my dorm but instead kept quiet all the time.

On a more personal level, I guess I justify to myself that I was struggling with studies and family problems. But recently most of those problems are solved to an extent and I am over being depressed.

I would like to start again, is this a good place to start? or should I start slower, becoming a normal social being first. Or should I take some time out to recover and enjoy being normal for awhile.

I started personally with meeting people over net.

I found this easier as I then built rapport, and conveyed personality before things like body-language and such came in, so that when I met the girls, (this was around the age 15 and up) I already felt comfortable, at least more comfortable than I would otherwise, that they were attracted to me in some way, and I gradually became pretty good at K-closing women.

Now a days I find it easier to just tag along at every invitation to parties, going out, etc.
It helps, and it is pretty safe to run game through social circle.

But it may be just as well to force yourself to go out, make a promise to yourself, and just do it.
Write down things you really want to become better at, and follow up on that list. It can help you keep the promise to yourself.

Please stop calling yourself an AFC. Be gentle to yourself.

Hey thanks, its been a few weeks now, and I guess I'm over some of the things. I guess the important thing is Survival first then Replication. If I can't get my regular life working normally, I shouldn't try working on my social life first. One thing at a time is now my new motto
