this may be a little off topic here but does anyone think the whole thing is intertwined. I mean, a guy who has confidence trouble when It comes to women will also have trouble in all areas of life. i.e. low confidence at work, while playing sport etc.

I have been reading up on a few things to do with sport psychology and if a guy is playing football and has low confidence then he may feel that he is insignificant compared to the rest of the players and will not play well. The same guy may be standing in a room full of women and feel insignificant compared with the rest of the guys etc.

I know people who are confident and cocky when playing sport and are the same way at work and around women.

I guess I am just throwing this out to see what you guys think. I have low confidence when playing sport and have only noticed that the same feelings are there in all areas e.g with women.

Here are some examples:
Fear of approaching women for fear or rejection.
Fear of e.g. trying to attepmt something new if im playing soccer
Fear of taking on big tasks at work.

This forum is about confidence with women but I think we should maybe discuss the big picture as well.
