Hey guys,

A couple of months ago someone suggested a couple of books to read on confidence building, one in particular sounded really interesting. I have forgotten the title but the theme was about how as we get older society pushes us away from our natural selves. There was a metaphor about children carrying a bag, every time they're told off on a aspect of their personality they put it in the bag. By the time we are adults we carry all of what we are in that bag.

Hopefully that might trigger anyones memory as to what the title of that book is. Thanks in advance!

I've read a lot of books but nothing comes to mind with that sentance. One good book that helped me with confidence was john alexander - how to be an alpha male. But there's probably more to do with outer game. It helped me alot though.

For confidence building, reading books is not the best idea out there.
It's like a way of removing small parts from the bag that you are talking about.

And now it may be really big. It contains years of habits that you did over and over again. For destroying the entire bag you shall will need to do it by making changes in your emotions first not in your thoughts(by reading & over thinking it).
