Whats inner game?

Confidence?

I think that confidence is a side effect of a good inner game. Inner game is to:

1) Have self value

Knowing that you deserve good things. You have to feel worthy of the girl. In a more advanced level; to think that you are the best guy for the girl, and that you can give her the best experience of her live.

2) To know that you can do it.

This is the reason of the "success chain reaction", if you know that you can pull it off; you will perform better (cause you know you can) and that improved performance will boost your next set.

3)No failure, just feedback.

When you fail, you dont really fail, you just learn a way of not doing it. This is hard to achieve, but basically is to be positive, and focus on what you did well, and how to improve the things you did wrong.

4) Self-contemplation.

You have to "watch yourself", and how do you feel, so you can react and be aware of your actions. Sometimes PUAs dont do this, so they cant possibly know what they are doing wrong.

4) Confidence

Confidence is not being "fearless", in my opinion is being able to do stuff and not freezzing out. To be able to ACT. It does not matters if you are scared of flirting, what is important is to do it. Like the Nike motto: "Just do it". If you miss the wave, you cant surf....as simple as that.

Any inner game problem can be solved working on those traits.

What do you think?

Oh...I almost forgot, quality is more important than structure. You have to work your inner game, and then the outer game. To be able to do stuff before knowing how. I dont understand why lines and routines are more important than NLP stuff and inner game, maybe cause you guys are way to impatient!!!.

Give yourself a pat on the back for that one. :D

I especially liked your point about self contemplation because I can relate to it. I didn't used to "observe" my thoughts and emotions.

However after listening to "Ekhart Tolle - The power of now" (I recommend it) it's taught me, for one, not to be led by my mind.
(E.g. We fear the approach, yet it is not approaching that hurts us).

So observing yourself increases the chances of you not being affected by compulsive and mostly unnecessary thoughts as well as emotions accompanying those thoughts.
You're still going to get approach anxiety on a first set for example, (even the best PUAs do because it's hardwired) but it won't obscure you from knowing what you can do.

I think guys learn material (outer game) first because it gives them confidence to last in a set. This in turn gets them experience which enhances more of their inner game.
Although, on the long term, I agree with you RedMole88 (that inner game is more important) because it is learning to possess the alpha male attitude that underpins game entirely. If you have that down then you can pretty much throw away all the material you know. The self assurance of "nothing can touch me or affect me" combined with being proactive by giving out a positive vibe. (Yin and Yang as Lovedrop puts it) is all you really need.
