I've been dating a lot more recently. I think I could date a lot more But I have this weird thing where women see me as a "dork". I know it has something to do with the way I present myself and my jokes but I haven't figured out what aspects of my life are "dorky?"

Has any one else had this problem? How do you combat being see as a dork. What is a dork and how does someone erase or at least dumb down this part of your personality?

You're either really a dork, or she's disqualifying you. You should disqualify her back if she does this. Neg her to death!!!

people often see me as a dork too. i have mixed emotions as well, but the one thing i do and its the best thing you can do is EMBRACE that word to the fullest. if thats how they see you and you dont know why, that ultimately means that thats part of who you are. if you can embrace it, make it something you joke about. say the dorkiest things you can but say them in a non serious way. it will then be perceived that you are just a joking kind of person and not a dorky person.

totally agree with this, be proud of it, laugh about it. everyone is a dork, it's just that some are better at hiding it than others. OWN it. trying unsuccessfully to hide dorkiness makes you worse than a dork... it makes you a LOSER.
