It is happening.
I am going through a breakup with my girlfriend after more than a year.
She was one of my best sarges, and the one for whom I had given up PU.
Our paths in life have diverged.
She decided she would rather spend the next 6 months traveling the world instead of getting a new job and moving in with me.
It's her choice. I respect it. It hurts me. But I respect it.
We will meet next weekend, to return each other's things.
I know deep within me there is a small hope that she won't be able to turn away and she will stay.
But I know that if she doesn't, if she really gives me back what I left at her house, and her copy of my house key, then it's all over. For real.

I take the pledge.
I take the pledge to give her this week to mull over the loss of us.

And then no more.

I take the pledge to not jump into oneitis.
I take the pledge to read "The game" again.
I take the pledge to be a man. To grow a pair.
I take the pledge to become TheSeagull again.
