I've been working with my confidence-issues for year and a half now, and it's slowly starting to pay off.
I just figured out that it would be good to have some sort of commandment system like Jesus-people do, but about confidence... a belief- and value system that enables one to make the best out of what he has.

So I figured out that since this is one of the few forums where people actually try to do something to their problems instead of soaking in them, maybe you guys have some good rules and such - not quotes but simple rules to repeat and repeat along the day. Simple sentences that can save you from any situation just like paperclip saves MacGyver.

Some rules that I have are:

"it's always your choice"
"there's a will, there's a way"
"giving up won't get you anywhere"

See mine are mainly Tony Robbins rip-offs, maybe you have something better?

I suppose I could take a shot at this. . .

1. NEVER think about the consequences

2. Be able to anticipate her reactions, then be able to counter them

3. Be able to translate her words into emotions.

4. Always think of it as a game. . .nothing more.

5. Never prove anything to anybody (including yourself)

6. This is the rule-of-law: talking to her and getting rejected is better than not talking to her at all.

7. As quoted from The Women, "A man has only one escape from his old self: to see a different self in the mirror of some woman’s eyes."

8. Be friends with her friends

9. Remember that you are the life of the party. Without you, there would be no party at all. Think about it.

10. Most importantly, Always leave her smiling, but be sure to never leave her without a smile :)

That was really good Jay. 1 & 6 especially. When men think about the consequences we talk ourselves out of an approach.

aka...larry welcome to the forum.

I'm sure the list can be improved upon, as a work in progress, but Jay, great job on what you've got there.

First off, Mazina, awesome idea for a post.

I don't have ten that I can think of, but here's a few:

1. Confidence is something that I create in my thoughts and the way I live, and does not rely on anything external.
2. Wake up every morning and be thankful for five unique strengths I possess or past successes I have made that make me vital to mankind and society.
3. Exercise and eat right, for a healthy, attractive body creates a confident and healthy mind.
4. Live a life to create my own happiness and to impress myself and no one else.

Sorry, nothing about women, because I believe if you truly master creating confidence internally, it will naturally come when you're around females.

I hope I was helpful.

"All of your work is for YOU purely; all you do has value for you."

"If you are to change yourself, do it for yourself, not for being cool for your friends"

"What killed the warrior?
Hesitation."

And last, but not least:

"Carpe Diem."

"You are either a master in your own world, or a slave in everyone elses" - nuked

This means confidence and frame control. Stop living by the standards everyone else puts forth for you. Be what ever you want to be, and anyone who talks to you should be graced with your presence. Not the reverse. Women believe that you should be happy if they interact with you. Hell with that, your a Bad Ass Mother F***** and she should be happy you even made eye contact.
