You will notice the higher up you build your self-esteem and portray your confidence, the more likely you will be put down by other alpha-males. I will give you an example, which made no sense to me what so ever, until I looked deeper into it.

Well I was at Texas Roadhouse with a few friends (had the sirloin and shrimp combo, worth it.). As we were leaving I was walking out with a confident posture but nothing that would attract too much attention, i walk past this guy (obviously an alpha-male) and my buddy behind me told me maybe 5 seconds after that he snickered i was a fag. I didn't really understand at all, he has seen me for 3 seconds just walking out the door and he pronounced I was a fag immediately. I walk back in and go up to him and tell him not to call people fags (non-aggressively but not submissive) and then i left.

A lot of people just need to proclaim dominance because that's who they are, and the only way to really get around this is to not take it personally, and maybe even learn how to proclaim your dominance on them without being aggressive of any sort. It's clear to me he felt some sort of threat by me, and he was with a woman also.

I'm not saying this is a perfect example of any situation you will run into, but just an idea how to find the indirect root of showing either dominance over them, or just learning how to not care what other men may say about you. If you start to believe them then you will start to become who they say you are
