Ok so I'm really beginning to understand how much of game is inner game, but not so much what you have to do as freeing yourself from thinking you have to do something (like getting nervous around a girl because you don't know what to do).

So, are there any books about Zen or anything in particular that could help me master the art of not giving a fuck? I see this as quite possibly the cornerstone to all my anxiety and woes in regards to anything social (like at work I've noticed I get waaaay more respect and people actually like me more when I am more carefree than when I start to try and micro-manage relationships on the job, then I seem to lose all the power and become a side-kick again >

Now I have read a lot of Zen literature in my day, but one is my all time favorite.
It's "Zen and the Art of Happiness" by Chris Prentiss.

It basically focuses on changing your mindset to 100% positive. And of course if you're positive and happy, your inner game improves in all aspects of life. The book also (from what I remember) talks about the law of attraction. Which is the concept of the fact that, if you think you will get something, you will get it. For me, one of the most inner game changing books yet.

Edit: As for "not giving a fuck". If your mindset is positive, you really don't care if you get rejected or anything. Their loss.

Thanks bro, I'll check it out. Cheers.

I think there is a subtle difference between not caring and being accepting when necessary. Being passionate and caring about things you believe in is part of having a strong identity. What is challenging is to do what the serenity prayer talks about - have the serenity to accept what you can't change, courage to change what you can change and wisdom to know the difference.
