I'm 17, people give me shit, my social circle is small as a result and I grew up with a bitter resentment against people.
And so I became a cold person
The few friends I have I really value them. The rest just disappoint me.
I have to change this. I don't wanna grow up and be like Mystery...
What should I do?

Posts: 156 | | I've had phases like this. I find it happens when I'm being too judgmental. "They're doing that? They must be an idiot." That kind of stuff.
For me, the first step to being more social was recognizing that everyone makes mistakes, and some people aren't even trying to be perfect. So I no longer judge someone off the first thing that comes out of their mouth, or what they're doing for fun. I give people a chance to surprise me... and even if they don't do anything impressive, I figure you can't really know someone in 10 minutes anyway.
