I know some of you may think affirmations are lame but I recently discovered something about them which may at least make you think there's something in them.

Say you were ugly duckling at school. As you grew up your looks got better, matured, and you became an attractive looking guy.Only thing is, you still believe that you were that ugly duckling and one thing about the mind is that it likes to find things that gel with what it believes and ignore that which don't. So everytime a girl checks you out your mind will ignore it and everytime giirl gives you a dirty look it's like you've been rejected by the whole female race.

It's like your past has cemented into your subsconscious the 'disaffirmation' "You're ugly and no girl wants you".

Now imagine that you were to repeat the affirmation "I am irresistible to women". You don't have to ever believe it, afterall no man is irresistible to women, at least not every women, But eventually it will get into your subconscious and replace the conflicting 'disaffirmation' above. And here's the kicker. Your mind will start finding things that gel with that affirmation or 'subconscious belief'. You will start noticing girls checking you out and when you get a dirty look it won't matter half as much.

And I'm not talking just theory here. I'm talking from practical experience.
