A theme I've noticed in many of the sticky posts is that dropping negative views on things like sex is seen as a step forward. Usually this is described as being less "judgemental", the favorite swear word of people who would rather you did not form any opinion about their choices, literally. How can losing your own integrity for the sake of being more social be seen as anything but the act of a spineless child? With it being so clear that seeking approval is low-status and AFC, isn't that exactly what you are by sacrificing your own values so that you can accept what you find unacceptable, and therefore BE more acceptable?
