| You need to learn to quite your thoughts. You're borderline anxious, that's why you can't sleep. When I say anxious, I mean as in anxiety disorder, panic attacks etc. I've been there. Get a good herbal remedy, really, my biggest mistake was not wanting to rely on "drugs". Get some valeriana drops to get you relaxed. It won't cause side effects, you won't get hooked on it. Meditate. Just focus on your breathing, don't let those thoughts ramble in your mind. I know it's hard and you feel like a mess, but getting some quality sleep will sort out a lot of other stuff too. Are you doing anything physical during your vacations? Like exercise, since you don't have football practice now. You can try another thing, get physically exhausted towards the evening, do some weight lifting in a fasted state or only on a light protein meal, then do a huge carb load in the evening, the sugar should knock you out, just listen to your body, go to bed and quiet the thoughts. Don't torture yourself, let go. Realize, everything is just as it's suppose to be at the moment. Breath deeply and slowly. Think about lying on the beach, just breathing, everything is perfect and calm, warm, the sleep will bring clarity, don't resist it, go with the flow, it's time to rest. _________________ rAFC and yes, I'm a chick.
