| Hey man,
Let me just quote something you say first. "I would like to know how I can maintain an alpha personality until I get a job and start making money."
My personal view of 'alpha' is completely to do with personality. The thing is, there is always going to be someone with a more prestigious job than you, someone who earns more money. That's true for pretty much everyone. Even those posters on here who might be earning hundreds of thousands a year, who are CEOs of massive companies or something, well there will be some people who have got more power/wealth from their jobs etc than those posters. That's life.
So, therefore, being 'alpha', in my opinion, is nothing to do whatsoever with jobs or money, cars, houses, or anything else. It's all about your personality and your mindset.
I'm not going to tell you here how to be alpha in general, as there are shed loads of posts about it if you want to get into specifics. But, for me, alpha is simply having the mindset and social skills that allows you to be entirely yourself in all situations. The more alpha you are, the more situations you will be entirely yourself. If you only really come out of your shell with your closest mates, you're less "alpha" than someone who can come out of their shell in front of everyone. In my opinion.
That's all mindset. If you put value ON YOURSELF, then it doesn't matter about other factors in your life. You haven't got a job? Does that make you a bad person? Does it mean people should not get to know you, refuse to be your friend, refuse to hook up with you? Of course not.
Work out what you can offer to people - have you got a wicked sense of humour? Are you a caring person who really looks out for those you get close to? Once you've done that, you can start to be really comfortable in your own skin - money helps, but even if you haven't got any, you're still the same person with the same inside qualities.
And when you're really comfortable in your own skin, that's when you can develop the alpha mindset in my opinion. That's when you can go anywhere and know that you are a person of value, with something to offer people on an inside level even if you can't buy them a round of drinks! That's how you become comfortable enough to be yourself anywhere, that's how you become alpha.
