there has been some talk about the EGO. For complete inner game I have read dissolving the ego is key to your game, and am currently reading 'the power of now' although maybe a skeptic of sorts i thought id give it a try. :)

There seems to be a vary in opinions between having an ego that is so big that you literally cannot be shaken by anything anyone says, because deep down you believe to be better than everyone and....

.....between dissolving your ego to the point that you cannot be affected because you just don't care any more.

if anyone can clear this up it would be great.. and ny advice on what path to carry down?

I am who i am, good life good friends, good girlfriend. but i want to be the best! and loved this quote written above. Thanks.

"The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man." - George Bernard Shaw

Not really. Ego in its definition paraphrased means self. That said, the ego does not need to be dissolved, if it is excess, sure- note though you NEED an ego to function properly. So what your talking about isn't dissolving the ego, your talking about dissolving the habits/thought patterns/processes which reinforce that perspective of who you think you are. (which is most cases of people are limited, dis-empowering)

I'm living up to my own quote on this topic.

Yes i think I understand now, its dissolving the judgement you make of yourself. acting as you feeling in that moment and being confident about it rather than second guessing yourself.
Am I right in thinking that also knowing your own positives and negatives is very important? therefore enabling you to take and negative dig at you in your stride because you know yourself completely and are comfortable with who you are.

If i have got it wrong feel free to correct me.

Yes & no. First off - there are no negatives on your side. A negative stresses too much on what you do wrong each time over & over again. You should define it as a "sticking point" or a work-point. You know what you are doing wrong - now work on it.

But your term of definition is okay. Knowing what you are does help alot with your game and also with a lot more in life. Just imagine what you can accomplish if you would actually "know" what you are all about. This, of course, is impossible.. but still, food for the mind!

Its enough for some to have innergame alone as long as they are normal just as its enough for some people to use outergame if they can act normal both can get laid.
Not appropriate innergame would be a buddist floating around the club speaking in parables or drawing on the powers of the visualisation alone to get a girl to approach them its probably not the best way to display your personality so some guidance and social calibration should apply if your wanting action each night.
Not appropriate outer game is a guy who gets one itis after one smooth date but really wants to be in a relationship he will hardly get one.
yoza.
