every time i know a new girl or i am in a group of friends or a study group. they tell me i am the quiet kind of a guy and i dont like it.
so should i be loud all the time to appear confident?

You don't have to be the most socially active one to appear confident. In fact, most women I've met told me that they dislike the loud try-hards in the group.
