I feel like I need to change my outlook on game so its not always about me being validated by girls.
When I started getting into game back in December aside from having platonic conversations I was across the board terrible. I think confidence was probably my biggest problem and still is.
Right now my ego and regular success are what really seem to drive me. Probably because of how much worse I was not very long ago. I have a fuck buddy for the first time, 3 dates this week and at least 2 booked for next week already, all with different girls. I plan on trying to f-close the 3 I have this week. I think my problem though is that whenever I don't do well (Don't close, don't get a date, don't get as many online responses, a slow text response, etc) it gets to me and sets me back a lot. If I go a day or two without having some kind of sexual/romantic interaction with a girl I start to get depressed now.
My current attitude seems to dependant on other people. Its not helping my mindset even if my skills are starting to get better.

Success drives me.
I want to rid myself of the boring empty life.
I want success.

My confidence and contentedness in life used to be very up and down. Then I made a conscious effort to contribute to the things and people around me. There is also a body of neurological research that is starting to find that mental health, confidence etc is significantly boosted in most people when they start putting effort into those around them rather than just themselves.
I think if you are looking for motivation its worth seeing if you can train yourself to be motivated for other people and enjoy making contributions.
Very similarly in pick up one of the core features used to be "leave her better than you found her" that seems to have been lost in all these "rawr I'm the alpha man, girls do what I say" types, which is a shame.
Most "good" PU guys I've read or watched seem to have a similar thing about them, in that they to some extent care about the people around them.. and that is no easy skill to perfect, but I totally think it's worth trying at least.
