Some of y'all might have your head running around in past and the future forgetting about the present. So I got you a really simple technique here from Sweden that you might be very aware of already.
Grab a book, and in it you want to write down 3 things that you have done either today, or Whenever you did it that was less good. It doesnt have to be bad, it just have to be "less" good. You can be grumpy about it, for sure. Thats the whole point. You then figure out what it is that was less good about it. For example.
I forgot to brush my teeth so my mouth smells like piss = Unhygienic.
This is to reduce Narcississm, maybe, erasing it completely. And also, you wont be suprised if (I dont know what the PUA version of the word is for douche is) a douche tries to bring you down. It wont be a suprise, you already know that youre not Perfect, and you are just fine with that, IF, you do the next part of the technique...
You then go ahead and write three things that youve done that is good, in the exact same way as the above but in the opposite way.
Took a shower = Hygienic.
Right there, you have an Affirmation that you can actually believe in. The trick is to be mindful about the bad stuff, and focus on the good stuff. A mistake Ive been doing with affirmations is giving myself affirmations thats not true, really. How can it be true telling myself "I am great" when Im moaning walking around unshowered since the past week knee-high in my own Sperm in a storage room with cups of seamen laying around when all I want is to get laid? When you have a reason for being Great, instead of the other way around you'll find yourself giving less of a shit about what others "might" think of you or whatever weird stuff your mind sets up for you. Because you know it is actually true. Last but not least
Focus on these Affirmations (that are True). Stick to them. Think of it as if you are the driver of a Bus, sometimes the road takes strange turns that makes it difficult to focus, and maybe you even drift away out of focus. But if you have this in the back of your head, these Affirmations. You'll be alright whatever happenes. And the second you are feeling blue, remember, that there is always new things to admire yourself for. I mean, I could name probably 10000 things that I did today that I could use as Affirmations. Its just, a waste of time. 1 is enough for like, I dont know. A month? That I guess you'll figure out yourself.
Keep it real!
