Ok, a few months back I was as lost as many of the people posting in this part of the forum, All i can suggest is go through various NLP books, take techniques from there to use to reinforce any beliefs you want, use positive visualization and journal previous successes.

But that isnt what this post is for. Lately I have started reading 60 years of challenge on recommendation from other forum members to compliment my usual MM game, and this is where I discovered the idea of social momentum.

In short, it refers to how going for something and not letting your fear or negative voice talk get in the way will give you a boost of self esteem and more confident out in field, even if you get rejected. Whearas talking yourself out of it will lead to a loss of self esteem and hence less confidence until you can barely hold eye contact.

We've all had nights where we are seemingly unstoppable, talking to everyone, joking with everyone, getting the girls, then nights where we barely approach one set

now when i used to have these bad nights, I would instantly convince myself my game sucks and that I have some deep seated inner game issues and would resolve to read a million books in order to help me. However, now whenever I feel myself swaying towards that way, for whatever reason, I just know to get my social momentum up and not avoid any social interaction or anything I want to do, works every time!

So if you have a bad night where you leave feelng like shit, shy and generally down, dont always assume your "broken"
