There's a whole spectrum between what Amadieus said and what I said. Just aim for anywhere in between and you'll probably land somewhere good.
Don't leave her any worse off by doing any fucked up shit like an insecure, emotionally abusive boyfriend would. Instead, inspire her to get the most out of life.
