In general - DONT. Especially if it is a crowded night. Exceptions are if this is a high-class lounge type place. At a typical dance club, Everyone is well...dancing, no one can hear anything you say, sets are rarely sitting - and they cant hear anything either. I'm sticking to bars instead of the club scene for this stuff.

good pointers. i have been avoiding the clubs too because i cant imagine it being easy there. when i build up the confidence to go, i will stick to the outer areas or drink areas

Just one precaution about the bars . . . as Mystery says it's not a good idea to open a set while they are waiting at the bar for a drink. Then they are likely to be interrupted in the middle of your opening. You don't want that.

Also, while the dance floor is fun, it can be hard to actually run game there, BUT you CAN find some attractive girls there that you can then lead to a quieter place. Just don't let that place be to the bar where they have YOU buying them a drink, lol.
