The story is that some of my old acquaintances found a song I sang some time ago in youtube and it is not sung THAT well. And now they laught behind my back about it. The thing is that I know I will never get any respect from them but it really bothers me that they laught about it.

I can take the video down but I don't want to do it. I know I shouldn't bother myself what others think of me but it does.. It's related to my inner game..when I was in their company..I was always considered to be loser. I know that I'm not a loser to myself (at that time, I was the ultimate nice guy). But still..the feeling INSIDE me bothers me..it's a mix of anger and sadness.

How can I really NOT GIVE A FCK what others think? Thank you!

Hey

I used to be the very same. But with everyone. You just have to assert yourself when you're with them. Set boundaries and make sure they know where they stand with you, and if they do f*** with you just walk away from them. Know in yourself that those people are replaceable. You can make friends, and I mean good quality friends, any time any place.

There's a book I recommend you read called Feel the Fear by Susan Jeffers. It teaches you how to get over fears, but you can apply the same principles to insecurity, which I'm assuming it is with you and your acquaintances.

I think there will always be a little part of you that will always give a fuck but you just cannot let it affect you, or influence you in any way.

I know that's a bit general but I hope it helps.
