Personally, I have found that not drinking is a DHV. Every party I have ever been to, someone has asked why I don't drink. I reply with, "I just don't" and they tell me they totally respect that and give me the fist pound. I have been told that it takes a lot of "guts" to not drink under the pressure of everyone drinking.

Very rarely though, I get one of those guys who hates on me for not drinking. In which case I either ignore and walk away or tell him I'm the DD.
I'm planning to go out this Friday with a new wingman. We are both focused on just improving as wingmen before advancing our game further.

What's a good comeback to an AMOG who calls us out on not drinking? The 'I don't need to drink to have fun sounds a little smug'.

Before the game I used to have to drink a lot to talk to women, but even that it didn't help because I did everything wrong.

I these days I don't drink when I sarge, I would rather have real confidence then something so artificial, plus its expensive!

I'm pretty much in the same boat, so i want to figure out how to pick up more women at malls, bookstores, etc. Unfortunately, I have seen very little published on day game. I'm afraid if I go into bars or clubs enough times I'll end up drinking again which would be an unfortunate situation.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I've learned a couple things since I posted. The first is to be completely confident about not drinking because I'm just one of those guys who really should not drink. I used to and I was the life of the party but not very attractive to women at all. The second is a line I actually took from another post on here. It's a response to the ? why don't you drink? Because I got tired of women always trying to get me drunk and take advantage of me. In an amog situation... if you are ready for a fight that is... Dude If I start drinking your girl will try to take advantage of me. I really don't get much flack about not drinking to be honest. I think it was an inner game insecurity for me.

I really want to quit drinking.

I've been going out to get drunk every weekend since my late teens. The thing is, here in the UK, its kind of the norm for people to go out and get shitfaced. All my friends drink and if you've ever been completely sober around a group of wasted friends you'll know just how hard and also annoying this is.

I'm hungover now as I type this and I feel a bit depressed too. I'm not really suited to alcohol at all and I don't really enjoy drinking any more either, its more a habit than anything. I quit smoking which I thought would be really hard but wasn't that bad so I guess I could quit drinking too if I really wanted.
