I got into a relationship 2 years ago. The start wasn't great , on the second date she told me she wasn't sure about me. Nevertheless we had sex on the 3rd date, but it wasn't great, she wasn't letting herself go, not what I was used to. Anyway after a few weeks her feelings for me seemed to improve and she started telling me she loved me.
A few months into the relationship, we discussed what happened at the start of the relationship. She was a little reluctant to get into it but I did manage to tease it out of her. Basically she told me that her life had consisted of short term passionate relationships with "unsuitable people" in which the attraction was quick and longer term relationships that she viewed in more loving terms.
It became obvious I was viewed in the latter category, and that she hadn't felt greatly attracted to me at first. Naturally this pissed me off but I was also curious as I had no idea women classified men like this.
Is this something that others have come across ?
