I've been spending too much time searching for all the answers. I keep learning, but the knowledge is never enough.

Recently I've been having trouble in my hot yoga class. It's a very intense experience which parallels with my search for emotional cleansing. After every class, I'd ask the instructor for advice, for some trick that would set me free.

She said something yesterday that really struck a chord. She looked into herself and saw it clearly:
"You just need to let go. Let go, and see what happens."
I get such a rush talking to emotionally centred people.

How do you hold on? What do you resist? What do you cling to? When do you tense up? When's the last time you just let it be, accepting life fully?

That's a good sentiment, but it is just a temporary feeling that will soon fade. We live in a society that fills us with so much stress and anxiety, that it is impossible to accept life fully for too long. It’s great to feel that way. I’ve felt that way too, but it fades way too quickly. This post reminds me of one of my favorite movies “Instinct”. Enjoy that feeling, because soon the takers will take it from you Tabibu Juha.

Isn't this the whole point of the game? To just let it be and not care what anyone thinks? The way I see it, when you have sorted your life out, nothing stresses you out any more. How can it? If you get fired because the economy has taken a dump... who cares? You've still got your health (cliche but a good example) so you can always find something else to do. If you have your life sorted you have confidence and confident people never end up in a rut. They will always find a way. Thats the way I see it. After all, the only reason why you feel stressed out when you are paying off that massive mortgage sending your house wife to the beuty salon, driving that bmw and sending your kids to a private school is because you are doing those things when you are not ready for them. You stress out because you you haven't let go in a sense. Now what I say now may sound great in theory and when/if I get married have kids all this may change but hell, I reckon the most important thing in anyones life is independence and confidence and if you have that then you will not have a single bad day.

I wouldn't say let go, I'd say learn how to take control of our lives by accepting that there are things we can control and things we can't. We should plan and organize for the things we can control to work in our favor, but we must not obsess over factors completely out of our control.
