I live in London England which if anybody has noticed the majority of people here are sour stuck up twats this can greatly affect your confidence when approaching

now im just in high school so havn't got to many resources to use but for me a temporary spur of the moment confidence builder is to play your some form of slightly aggressive music and sing it in your head or evan lip sync it this tends to work best with "gangster rap like THE GAME ONE BLOOD" "Hard rock like NICKLE BACK ROCKSTAR or evan "BENNIE MANS DIWALLI RIDDIM which has a military theme" anything that has some form of aggressiveness to it takes the edge off and gives you the feeling of being in control.

Billy Joel - You may be right

Just puts me in good frame, relaxed and upbeat at the same time.

Becareful of listening to music because some music can make you feel angry and aggressive. However it can affect your frame as well. Hob is right because if he listens to Rap it will create a sexual vibe but however a heavy metal will usually give you a pissed off and don't fuck with me vibe. I sing alot somtimes outloud and sometimes in my head. My songs are usually the I don't give a fuck attitude. Which is a good attitude when used right. However, music can in away influence our mood as well as attitude.

So in a way, I would sugguest to listen to upbeat and positive music and I don't mean like mozart! Listen to some music that will make you feel good and like you said in control of situations. However, there are several confidence building techniques out there.

Haha, is your name supposed to represent Oli Sikes perchance??

Idk, I'm not a big fan of rap and screamo just makes me feel aggressive and unattractive.

To crazy and anyone else interested in some upbeat tunes to really get you going from some British idols - Pete Doherty and Carl Barat.
Basically download tracks by the Libertines, Babyshambles and Dirty Pretty things, the whole story behind all the bands and the relationship between barat and doherty is great reading too, i was obsessed with it for a couple of weeks I have to say hah .
Cheers

Another highschooler here, but Stateside.

I also do this, but I listen to rap and sometimes some JT if I'm really not in the mood. One little comment though... I've never been to London, so I don't know if everyone really is an uptight twat, but if you walk into any situation believing that the people are uptight twats it's going to affect your performance. Change that belief, it sounds completely useless. Also, that particular projection sounds like you could possibly be projecting that yourself, so make sure you are working on inner game and that you yourself are not an uptight twat.
