Hi everybody,

hey listen,

I think that my Body Languange is terrible and my movements are very clumsy and the people can notice that I am not sure of myself. I really want to improve it, so I am interested in learn the Alexander Technique or something like that and also I am so tired that always whe I talk the people say ``what´´ or ingore me.

I can't afford to pay for private class of Alexander technique so I think I am going to take pilates and Yoga classes in my GYM but I'd like to know if you guys know some books or self study program about improvement of voice and posture.

Thanks a lot.

start simple.
stand up tall and straight..
practice it when your around friends... you can read/watch videos all you want, but nothing comes close to going out and practicing it yourself...

Don't know any books for you but if you go to the nearest book shop they'll probably have a bunch of stuff for this in the health or self-help section.

I can give you some tips though.
- Smile. All the fucking time. Not like some fucking cheesy grin, that's weird. Just try to look happy. It makes you less intimidating and more approachable
- Stand straight and tall. Chest forward, head up and shoulders back.
- Walk like you own the place. Move everything, not just your legs. For the love of god don't exaggerate this though. Watch a James Bond movie. The actors in those usually have it down to a T.
- Eye contact is always a good thing. But don't stare - Smile.
- You can easily talk to fast but it's very hard to talk too slow. If you think you talk fast then slow it down a little. This can take practice to get used to. You are now friends with your mirror.
- NEVER cross your arms.
- Do stuff slowly, you're in no rush. For example if someone calls your name turn a little slower than usual, or if you're a fast walker slow it down a tad. Even getting some control over blinking a little slower when you have eye contact with a girl is a good thing.
- Kino escalation. Learn it.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head :p
