Can anyone recommend a good way to pose for photographs?

If somone could supply images of what they feel is a good pose, that would be perfect.

I'm looking for some inspiration here such as a a decent model to emulate or something along these lines. Some here must have the knowledge surely.

On a serious level though you guys have no expert advice, I just would like a selection of decent poses or whatever for when I go out and people take pictures.

If no one has any ideas I understand.

I love posing for picture. My dad is a professional photographer, though his pics are of outdoors, senery, wildlife, and nature. I have learned some things about posing. I wish I could upload some photos, I have a ton.

Smile, obviously, that should be the only genuine part of the photo. Look at the camera most all of the time. Unless the photo is of you engaged is something interesting. Even then it might help to look if you can.

Own the photo, be the center of attention, but dont beg for it. (Dont lean into the photo like your beggin for attention, just let every ones attention be on you, like the pic of the dude pissin. The pic is of the girl yet even though he is off center and background, he is the center of attention).

Put your arms up in some way. I love to point at the camera. Personally, I like to extend my whole arm towards the camera with my thumb up my pointer finger pointing at the camera and the rest of my fingers curled in like a fist (you can put your other arm around the girl). If you have your arm around someone, dont lean into them, they are the center, have everyone leaning into you (pull them in a bit). Insted of pointing at the camera make a fist and a crazy face. Put your hand out so you can see both palms and all your fingers.

Have fun DO NOT BE SERIOUS. Unless you have a serious look that is defiantly a joke (context is key for this). You want to look like you are having the most fun. Dont care what others are doing, you are the center. Crazy facial expressions are fun, this is when you dont have to smile, something more fun, or funny, or crazy, but get into it.

The last point is the most important. Have fun. People recognize that faster then anything else, just have more fun then anyone else, everyone eyes will be attracted to you and wish they were having as much fun as you.
