Hello, kinda new to the forum, reading The Game currently. I'm doing everything I can to get ready for this ( I know its a kind of AA but I want to make sure I feel confident in myself when I start).

Anyways I have no style, I was never really an alpha in school but im working my way up through sports and stuff. I just have no idea how to dress.

Without thinking I've sort of surrounded myself with accessories. Heres what I wear on a regular day. I'd love a critique, and I know im dressing retarted, but I want to improve to critisize away please :). I'm going to try and get a picture up soon to help show you exactly what im wearing.

-Black beanie with Canadian hockey symbol and molson on back
-Buzz cut hairstyle (Cadets and Military require this so no changing)
-Chain around my neck to "Support the troops"
-Usually a quicksilver,billabong,Volcom t shirt
-Blue jeans
-Black "Dream Theatre" wrist band on right wrist
-Ring on my wedding finger. This used to work wonders cause girls would ask if I was married or something, It just has a "D" on it for Devon, my name. Anyways it was a good opener for the girl to start off with but it only works for students because obviously they wouldnt be married

-Watch on my left hand
-A green Canadian Army wrist band
-On my belt buckle I have a small link rectangle saying "Rampage"
-A black with silver studded skulls belt
-And Black/Silver Gore*Tex shoes

If you guys want I'll try and get a picture up of every peacock etc I have on me. I think the thing I have most problems with is my clothes, I have no idea what a good peacock shirt or pants would look like. By the way, I am only 18 and still in highschool so this stuff has to be good for theatres, malls, and schools only, I dont plan on sneaking into a club or bar so I cant wear that stuff.

Just want to thank you all right now for ANY help you can give me. Thanks in advance
Devon

i'd go for a better shirt selection

i dont know your age, but those volcom, billabong, and whatever else they are wont do the trick, try more fashion shirts for banana republic, old navy, express, or go to a vintage shop and pick up some non name brand shirts with nice designs

also with the pants make sure they arent too baggy, nothing looks more stupid than a skinny kid wearing pants made for a person two times the size than him, but however, i dont know your weight, so adjust accordingly

you might also want to lose the beanie unless its always cold, since you have the buzz cut, get some aviators and keep them on outside and hang them on your shirt indoors

also i dont know your muscle mass because maybe if you want to keep the military theme going gets some tight fitting army/navy/air force shirts or whatever, but not to wear everyday, because women love men in the armed forces

Seems like you're going for more of a grunge look. Personally, I've always thought that this looks terrible. It would help a little to know what kind of physical shape you are in. Once you get the pictures up, it will be much easier to critique.

First of all......Canada has a military?

Second of all, it sounds like you're using the military thing to your advantage, which is good, but remember that it is important to be clean and dress accordingly.

Only one of the best trained ones in the world. Our snipers are far superior to US military and were used a lot in the early parts of the Afganistan and Iraq war.

Yeah, this topic is really offhand lol. Could you guys get some pics up of the kinds of shirts I should be buying or even pants? I'm still trying to get a camera to get pics of me up too.

It seems like you enjoy skater type clothes, which is something I know little about. If you want some change, you can try looking at some Express graphic tees... http://expressfashion.com/products.jsp? ... groupid=33

I don't know how much you want to spend, but some of Armani Exchange's new line has that "look at me!" look going on...

Again, I don't exactly know what price or type of shirt you are looking for, but those are some food for thought.

What i learned from mystery is that maybe you should try wearing jeans that are a little better fitting tighter (i dont know what kind of jeans you wear) but if their not tighter would be better im not saying get like leather pants bro but something that fits better. Second i have recently found this new brand called affliction honestly these shirts are crazy if they dont get attention i dont know what will. for example i bought a shrit yesterday http://www.afflictionclothingstore.com/ ... cts_id=578 i wore it today and i got compliments from many people. If you dont want to spend that much on shirts i would recommend abercrombie muscle fit shirts those get alot of attention, brighter colored shirts. Etc ETC the possiblities are endless, the trick is just experiment with many different things and eventually youll get the look you like.... OH ALSO TOP HATS are amazing ive worn top hats my firend wears a top hat every single day its crazy how many compliments we both get.... try them out

those are some amazing t-shirts, but insanely overpriced

i used to think that express shirts were priced high, but $50 for a cotton tee with print on it is blasphemous

They are a bit pricey but there are a few that you can find for around 39.99
