I recently got a designer watch on sale. The main reason towards why I purchased this watch was for show. I want women to notice the watch and comment on how nice it is.

I was just wondering how often do you think women would notice the watch brand or even care that it is a fancy watch? Do you think I should just return it?

Heres a pic:

Get compliments every time I wear it with black to contrast it.

I have have had several comments on my watch over the past year, it is some cheap thing I picked up at a market stall but it does get attention and comments almost purely because of it's size.

It is a thick black leather strap (about 2 inches wide) with a large square metal face. Not designer but pretty cool (I wouldn't spend a lot of money on a watch anyway because I always seem to hit it against things and scratch it!)

An unusal or big watch or colourful watch is a great opportunity for attention. My instinct would be 'how would a girl know if a watch is a Rolex or just worth $50 even if it is just two feet away from her? Every metal watch looks the same from 2 feet away.' Also I am poor so -designer- isn't an option for me!

Yeah I am not too rich either. This watch was just heavily discounted.

I think I might just return it and buy some cooler jewelry :D

Yes, women pay attention to small details like watches, shoes, finger nails, your scent. Spend the extra cash if you have it. I personally love Invictas. I will not purchase any other brand.

to be honest i own a lot of watches cheap and expensive it depends on your budget. heres a few recommendations depending on prices (cheaper to expensive)

Ice watch www.ice-watch.com
LTD watch www.ltdwatch.com
Citizen eco drives http://www.citizenwatch.com/
tissot www.tissot.ch
hamilton www.hamiltonwatch.com
omega www.omega.ch
breitling www.breitling.com

you have to think about is it for peacocking or do you care about the type of movement or do i wanna pay for servicing and things like that if you wanna go cheap go for the top 2

McDonalds watch, that's hot. Too bad it's only good for a week. I've read wearing a big, sportsman kind of watch will make people remember you as being taller. Brand watches are good if you don't mind gold diggers.

i think the most important thing is your watch or whatever else your peacocking matching the rest of what your wearing.
