I have been playing around with my style for almost a year now. For some reason, I decided to get a new hairstyle after about 2 years.

Turns out, I decided on a buzz cut. The most odd thing is that it suits me perfectly. It makes me look like the classic badass, however I am still wondering if this is good.

I have also been planning on getting an earring because a lot of my girl friends say that it would look good on me.

The issues I am afraid of:

> A lot of girls say that buzz cuts are hot. A lot of girls say that earrings are hot.

> A lot of girls say that buzz cuts are gross. A lot of girls say that earrings are gross.


I was just wondering if girls will automatically find me unattractive if I had a buzz cut or earring? I find myself a good looking guy, but I just don't want a girl to find me unattractive because of my hairstyle or earring. Any suggestions?

buzz cuts are chill dude. theres nothing gross about it. and about the earings, its all up to you, do it and if you don't like it just take it off

Why the hell are you so worried about what girls think is good looking? Do what you think looks good on you and not what various girls say looks good on you. If you think getting an earing will look good on you then get one.

I was really just wondering if looks can put a guy at a disadvantage. I know that game can always make up for your looks but why would you want to start behind in a race?

Don't worry about the details. The thing is, if you get an earring and find a girl who doesn't like earrings, you're making it harder. If you find a girl who does like earrings, what are the chances she is going to pass you up because you don't have one? Sounds like cheap advice but do what makes you happy because if you're not happy, it doesn't matter how you look, you'll be less attractive.

Looks can put a guy at a disadvantage, but most of the time its not much of an one.

This, and also: if you meet a girl who thinks guys with earrings and buzz cuts are gross, is that really the kind of girl you (being a guy with a buzz cut and an earring) want to hook up with? Probably not.

Instead of looking at game as a way to pick up every girl you meet, think of it as a net that catches girls whose personalities are compatible with yours and lets go of the ones who aren't.
