I've thought about it for a while and I want to get a tattoo to stand out and have another peacocking piece. Problem is that I can't find the right design. I want something that is eye catching and looks good (provoke questions) but also something that not everybody has. I noticed a lot of guys have tribal tattoos. As for the placement probably somewhere on my arms. Any comments or ideas would be great. Just as a starting off point I like how the biomechanical tattoos look but I'm not sure how women would react.

Lately I've been thinking about going with a Zodiac tattoo. I figure, it's a cool simple design, works as a conversation starter, and it actually means something so I wouldn't regret it later on in life. Look around at a few things before deciding though, and make sure you're getting it because YOU want it not because it looks cool for now. Tats are for life, you better pretty pretty damn sure before inking up. I will say that one thing I'm 100 percent on is going to Thailand and getting one of those buddhist monk tats, that will have to wait until I get out of these next five years of school though lol.

Tattoos are personal and forever.

Personally I would find a tattoo that I'd liked, never mind seeing if someone else (girl or otherwise) likes it or not. It's your body/skin so foremost, make sure you have the tattoo for the right reasons. As you're stuck with it ;)

An well known instructor has a tattoo of a shark on his arm and if someone notices it, he'll talk about his life experience of swimming with sharks -- it's personal to him and pretty cool to talk about.
