WARNING!!! There's no encouragement to destroy one's body on purpose in order to boast with scares and pretending to be a macho, such a behaviour is lame and finds no acceptation!

What do women think about scares on the body?

Many stereotypical machos do have scars. It's believed women love scars, because it dlivers them with the info a male is ready to take a battle, doesn't sit the whole life in a lab or office, leads an active way of life and can bear pain.

On the other hand, many BAFCs or other frustrated guys, cripple their bodies in order to draw attention, in order to be avant-garde or original. But when a woman sees a scar is a result of frustration, she doesn't respect the guy. Then he is week because can't control his emotions and that finds a channel in self-crippling.

I've noticed anyway, women finds it interesting a man have scars. What is the funniest, they always ask questions about male's scars after sex, never before... But anyway, I have some scares (reminings after martial arts, army - barbed wire and car accident) nothing serious, no influence on my fitness, a few of half a centimetre (0,2 inches) to centimetre (0,4 inches) and women like to caress it, even kiss :)

Generally, a signifance of this post can be restrict to a thesis: if you have scars, don't be ashamed of it! Don't hide it!

Yeah, I have a pretty big scar (from knife) on my right hand. Girls sometimes ask me about it, and it's good fun telling the story behing it ;) .

my hands are ridiculous altogether I have 70-80 scars from my elbows down (I was a clumsy kid/baker for 6 years/ climber/ enjoy juggling knives when bored). So yeah its funny they are all quite hard to notice until you notice one then its like wow his hands are pretty much all scars.

It works great for kino, they play with my fingers and hands asking me where I got them all, then usually show me their scars, more kino.

Some of my friends have scars, they have interesting stories behind them that can intrigue people for a bit. One has a scar from when a bone was punctured out of his shoulder after a biking accident. Another has a big scar from a shark bite, thats an interesting story. I doubt it will create attraction but it does hook attention. And for anybody who intentionally scars themselves for attention, fuck you.

Studies performed 2007-09 have shown women are attracted more attracted to men with visible scars, but only for short term relationships.

Men with scars which were less visible and the men with no scars chances were equal (to eachother that is) at short term relationships but had a greater chance at long time relationships than those with clearly visible scars.

It will be fun to see what experiences people have with this subject, ill make sure to stop by

I have a trail of scars that sortof look like pink stretch marks over both my rotator cuffs which were the site of nails that were dug into my flesh when I was fighting a beduin kid in Dubai years and years ago.

Yes girls do find the scars attractive but I've found the caveat is you should be in good physical shape to begin with. At some point at let myself "go" and got out of shape and they weren't compelled by the scars all that much, and then I got back into shape and actually added lean muscle mass and voila!

The key here is the girls should be given REASON to treat the scar as thought it were on a gladiator's body and it should show ;)

Scars are an excellent conversation piece and show a degree of toughness/ruggedness that most if not all women find attractive. Self-inflicted scars show emotional/mental instability and a weakness of character.

Chicks diiiiig them.

Whether they're looking at them or kissing them, they dig them.

As a side note, a girl I'm seeing asked me for some random reason what I do when I'm nervous, I told her I rub my scar on my shoulder (shoulder surgery). It's crazy what that's done to her, she rubs it all the time now.

I say embrace them.
