What do you guys think would fit my head? I don't think the really short hair has done me much good in the past and I think it's because my head isn't very circular. Here are some pics.

That's the funnest bathroom in the world. This is quite short hair for me.

What does age have to do with any thing? You can't go wrong with geling it, whether you spike it or just gel it down it gives it a nice clean look. Otherwise theres always about a billion hats out there. My two cents.

Lol. I thought I heard all the God jokes here but they keep coming and they're getting better too.

Gelling and spiking was always practical to me but I see sooo many celebs that spike their hair but they have so many different ways of doing it. I just don't know the best way to spike it. I want to try the style where you spike the first quarter of your hair, like its a little messy and leaning in different directions, but I don't know how to do it yet to even see if I can work that hairstyle.

Hey dude, those hair cuts aren't great, the spikey short one looks like a home job (was it?)…The give away was that it looked really 'round' and each hair looks the same length with no progression or parts that are longer than others. Go to a good hair dresser; the one that does your friend with the good hair (I'm sure at least one of your friends must have decent cut).

Another big bit of advice, being a skinny guy you really shouldn't wear sleeves that have elastic in them unless it sits tightly on your arm, I am referring to picture of you in the polo shirt, in this pic there is elastic in the sleeves yet your arms does not fill the sleeves, this only accentuates the fact your small...conversely the black top your in would also have elastic in the sleeve however the sleeves in that shirt will sit flush against the skin and not look so bad…. You can still wear a short sleeve shirt just avoid ones with elastic in the arms unless you’re a big guy…

That was a great reply thanks. I'm a little unsure what you mean though about my short hair. What do you mean by

What is round? What is the same length? Do you mean the bangs part that I have spiked or the whole thing? And what did you mean by progression or parts being different lengths? I'm not sure what part of my hair you're talking about.

'Round' is look you get when you use clippers to shave your head, the hair remains at the same length all over following the contours of your head thus resulting in a shitty round look....
Messy is a look you should go for it's far more natural and just looks better...maybe have the hair a little longer in the centre...
below is pic to try and demonstrate what I am getting at...
Good luck dude..

From the pictures the one where you had your hair grown out and was greasy, that was a rough and sexual look ya would pay for at a hairdressers/salon. Work on that rough look and maybe some highlights or something to make you different.. ?

 I just went to a salon the other day to get some work done on my hair, ended up a dm mess... short story resulted in me attacking it myself. Am not going to post a pic cos its not finished :) but suffice to say its short but slightly irregular and instead of them toning my hair a shade lighter they turned it nearly blonde, wish they had gone a bit further but its slightly straw yellow... .

Now that would have been a bother and embarressing only a few weeks ago, but since I have been reading loads of stuff on this forum I have started to rediscover ME. I am, as mention elsewhere, real happy wearing a red nose and madeup as a clown and that slight mask of the entertainer is a great frame to carry any stuff off.
I have in the last 3 days made more approaches and stuff than in the last 3 months as I dont give a sh*t about how I look and the hair just makes people relax as I look silly and they open far easier, I had one person ask if I was on TV  and I looked like John Lydon .
Was so busy laughing I got #close written wrong, but I`m not regretting that cos was real funny.

I have a head shaped much like yours and what I do is keep it short but get them to style it shorter on the sides and a little longer on the top....then I take paste and mess it up....kinda put it into a fohawk look...the short messy look suits me but I also have alot more facial hair then you so I can grow scruff and mix it up.

I also notice you have a young face so I would stay away from the crew cut! some guyscan pull it off but it makes your face look to young.

First - get your eyebrows done. You have amazing potential for enhancing your facial structure, by putting a cleaner shape on your brows. DO NOT go to an asian nail salon and have someone do your eyebrows, they will come out too girly. Try threading - indian style of eyebrow maitnance, they do it in the mall etc, its easy to find - they are better with dude brows.

For hair, go to a barbershop, not a salon. Make sure they NEVER use clippers on your head, tell them you want it scissor cut, they wont mind, and it'll look so much better - be sure they dont use clippers and buzz your neck hair either, they can do that with a barber blade if they are a true barber. When you buzz it, it grows in quickly and freaky prickly, when you have it shaved with a straight blade (which they should be doing on your neck, sideburns and hairline) it keeps the hair soft when it grows back in.

Product: DO NOT USE POMADE!! You're not ready, and it will make your hair look greasy everytime :) its ok... go to your friendly drugstore - this is the only time its ok to buy your hair products from CVS - and buy L'Oreal "surf hair" use a small amount with the tip of your fingers and rub it lightly in your hands - this warms the product slightly and makes it friendlier to apply to your hair --- work it in from the back forward to eliminate product buildup and waxiness in the front... try a faux hawk. Push your sides forward and the back flat, push the top of your hair up and over - making kind of a faux hawk BUT NOT a mohawk - which is pushing all your hair towards the front... and not cool.

Great place for new ideas that are easy to do

Most important thing about hair, make sure it looks clean shaven while its growing out.
