Putting Her Handbag in Close Proximity

A woman's handbag is her personal domain. Even most married men live in terror of entering this most forbidden territory. Because a woman treats her handbag as if it were a personal extention of her body, it becomes a strong signal of sexual intimacy when she places her handbag close to a man.

If a woman finds a man attractive she may deliberately stroke and caress her bag in an inviting manner, tantalising and teasing her male admirer.

A woman who places her handbag close enough to a man for him to see or touch it is sending out signals that she's attracted to him. If she keeps her bag away from him, she's creating an emotional distance.

What makes you think this? Was it a one off thing, something a girl told you or something you have noticed...

No, it's a trust issue. Like Killians said.

If she trusts you, maybe she'll put the purse between you two. If you were her best girlfriend, you KNOW she'd put the purse there. If you were a hobo, you KNOW she's put the purse far away on the other side. ;)

of course ! it's a trust issue and if she goes to the bathroom she can give you her purse to keep it till she comes back. now that's a clean indicator that she trust's you and that you have builded some comfort and trust and you will trust her more after that just because she trusts you..
but after all if she asks you to hold her purse then that's a hoop,and if you're in the attraction phase then don't do it :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P

Comment on it so you can look through, its a great way to get to know a girl lol, if she opens it near you be like "holy shit you going camping or something, what the hell is all that".
I did this the other night then she showed me what she carried around, I spotted the iPod and boom insta-rapport over bands that only me and her like (us vs them).

This is something I read in a Body Language book. There's plenty to learn in those books. Quite shocking.

PS: HAHAHAHAHA for the "Camping" comment. That one's offcially tatooed into my brain. Nice bro ;)

What body language book was it? But I have found that you can almost learn more about body language from people watching than reading a book on it. Let a lone a book with bs info on women purses.

True that, It's definatly better to watch your surroundings and learn about Body Language. But, I find it's crucial to know what sign means what before going out there and to observe. You can't understand what's going on while watching a chess game if you don't know any of the moves and rules.

Now, some might laugh about the title of the book, but this is a pretty neat book. I took it from Body Language for Dummies.

Just for an added note, The purse thing may not be a sexual thing. I agree with whom doesn't agree with this. Thus, it's a great IOI. I've studied out in the field and it doesn't lie. Playing with the purse can be an invitation to anything she has on her mind, sexual or not. Also note that she could use it for setting a barrier between you and herself. If she's holding her purse firmly while speaking to you, she might not be completly open with you. It can also be a signal she wants to leave the set.

True. But a lot of body language when you stop to watch it is pretty easy to understand tho.
