experience wise i have noticed that people treat confident and unconfident very differently.... i am a victim as well as guilty of it.

last night these black couple came into my store, i always dress to impress and get alot of attention because of it at work. i am working temporarily at this shoe store at the mall with around 7 other people.i find girls as well as customers coming towards me more than my other friends at work.

my self conciousness and unconfident behaviour ruined it in a way from me. i let the couple walk all over me . when they came in, they waited on me to get done as i guess they wanted me to help them not anyone else. i waasnt feeling very sure of myself and was out of breath at the time. ... as they gave me the shoe i went back to the warehouse and overheard them midway " .... and you thought he was aggresive .. hahah " when i came out they started saying stuff like .. hope it wasnt too trouble sarcastically ..

my problem is that i look very very confident but dont act that way which is why some of the time people walk all over me.

I've been trying to think of a good answer to your question for a couple days now. I guess the thing I've come up with is that there is no magic bullet for finding inner confidence. Just put it in your mind that you are what you want to be. Concentrate on what you want and make a little work to get there and It'll come to you.
