Do the shoes fit your style? If so then why worry about it? I have a friend that wears skater shoes and does not skate but his shoes go with his style.

I think what you need to worry about more is if you look clean. are you jeans too baggy? does your shirt fit right? do your shoes match your belt.... those kind of things..

seriously shoes matching belts? i didnt know that because my shirt line usually covers up the belt (barely because i wear tight shirts) are u suggesting that i tuck in my shirts when sarging or wear tighter shirts that go above the waist line and yeah i do wear a black and white belt and black shoes so it matches good

if you rock a skater style, i probably would avoid tucking in your shirt.

just pick up a GQ magazine, and adapt from the style. I will sometimes wear some chuck taylors with jeans a button up shirt and a tie. also, if you like the skate style, check out Kanye West's, Lupe Fiasco, or Pharrell's style. They have that "back pack rapper" style. its like preppy and skater at the same time. Mix and match, create your own style.

Not exactly constructive to the OP; some people like them - some don't. I think the main thing is a) having your own style, and b) having the balls to carry it out.

You could wear a skin tight pink jump suit if you had the confidence and frame to carry it out.

You want to wear skater shoes? Where skater shoes. Make your own rules.

I wear Nike SB Dunks, which are skate shoes, and I dont skate. I would stay away from wearing fat skate shoes like DC and Vans though.

I wear skate shoes out sometimes too, and I've never gotten a funny look or comment. Just make sure they match well and you should be fine. In my opinion, a new pair of really white DC's are the best kind of white shoes.

i have alot of tennis shoes and a couple pair of sandals. well not sandals. the cross rubber ones from nike (like 8 yrs old) and some heavy lime green white striped flip flops from abercrombie

neither cost much. maybe 15-20

i like to keep a couple pair of white tennis shoes or basketball shoes. i dunno its w/e

i think u eliminate some girls from ur selection if u wear these multicolor weird shits unless u got alot of game confidence and charisma

im talking the ghetto air force 1esk multicolor ones or the high basketball style ones..

yea alot of people wear skate shoes and dont skate. i DO skate and usually DONT wear skate shoes but if it is who you want to look like then wear them with pride but be sure to avoid all black or real dark colors cause you get the "emo" stereotype.

I (since i am black)
do not wear super baggy jeans
tall tee
when sarging however i will wear if i am not out looking for girls
cause then i will look like every other black guy at my high school

I do wear
dillon skinnys from pacsun
(but a size or 2 bigger cause i dont want them too tight)
a bright polo
and
custom shoes( usually AF1's)
but the shoes have a bunch of art work done by myself every body looks at them cause they have never seen them anything like them before

now let me examine my wear:
jeans-the sterotype is all black people wear baggy pants(true mostly). when i wear these jeans. it makes me a little more intersting cause it says(he's not like all the others)
shirt-bright is considered happy, dark is considered sad. it doesnt really matter about the color much but i do think that bright say ( im happy therefore easier to talk to)
shoes-just a conversation peice and a few openers and transitions can be used with this.

The face that your belt isnt always visible is irrelivent, it should match. black shoes = black belt, brown shoes = brown belt.
