| Try this... Very simple. Get the self control to NOT respond to someone speaking.
Every time someone speaks count to 3 in your head, then talk at 50% speed. What seems awkwardly slow to you seems natural to the other person. The more nervous you are, the longer you count, the slower you talk.
If you still have trouble, try this. Stop being you. Become someone else. Try spending a whole day AS Daniel Craig from Casino Royale. Literally pretend to be him, but use your name.
A little story to give background information. My work is less than legitimate. I'm 18 years old, ran away from home at 15, spent a year as a drug dealer, a year as a professional (I'm very heavily trained in IT to the level that I'd normally be called a hacker), and now work for very shady parties forging documents (everything from birth certificates to leases, paychecks, SPAM), etc. The people I work for use me for anything requiring 'scientific' intelligence, basically. (And I'm safe posting this, so don't worry).
That being the case, I'm almost always surrounded by people who are older than me (My current girlfriend is 26, russian, and hot as hell), as well as a lot of AMOGs. (Drug dealers, and the like, fit very much into the AMOg category generally). It gives me a lot of practice.
Now one other thing I have to do often is impersonate someone. Such as impersonating an office worker talking to a banker, etc. I'm good at it. I've practiced acting (well, 5 classes).
The whole 'bad-boy' thing makes me attractive in itself. But most interesting was this...
I always get female attention. I have money, I'm good looking (modelled twice), and I know how to AMOG.
But this one night, my boss is going to a bar where another dealer frequents. The dealer and my boss had been in an argument some nights earlier, and it seems he had tried to kill my boss. So my job is to impersonate an undercover police officer in the club (to worry the other guy).
Thus I need to act tense, super self confident, 100% AMOG, while not being particularly social, and also solo.
So me and 'wing' (my boss, a dealer), go into the bar. I stand back, arms folded, smiling slightly, exuding semi-guarded/antagonistic confidence. Wing whispers in my ear, I nod. The other guy notices us immediately. I stare him down. I win. Keep playing the role, call a friend, while staring this other guy down. Giving condescending body language to anyone who approaches me, while deliberately not trying to open a conversation.
Several girls tried to make eye contact. I look for like 5 seconds (confident), then turn somewhere else without looking down (looking down is submissive, looking to the side is dismissive) or blinking.
After a while, and a lot of men giving submissive body language, the other dealer goes to leave the club. By this time I've sat down by myself at the bar, still playing the role. 2-set opens on me, and I run the convo while giving the shortest (and DHV) answers, without giving a lead-in for her to respond.
"Where are you from?"
"New York."
"What are you doing here..."
"Work."
"What do you do..."
I just smile and look back. IOIs are exuding, and I've dismissed her.
The dealer walks out, talks to her (she's a bartender, but she's off duty).
Then he looks at me.
I open "How are you doing?"
"I saw you kept looking at me... blabla"
I just nod and ignore him. He leaves.
Convo resumes with the girls, by the time he's out, my role is over. Interesting thing is the amazing amount of IOIs I got being silent and non-social, as well as almost universal submission from males (many alpha).
By the time I go outside for a smoke break, they come out, get into a conversation. I tell them I'm leaving, but me and some friends are gonna go party at my place, and she's welcome. She and her friend both come. I didn't F-close because I had business that night. But the satisfaction of knowing I could have is sweet.
Point of the story, is if you have a problem with outer game, just impersonate someone else until you're perfect.
