Does it hurt? I would venture to say yes. It's a needle going through your skin.

If you decide to do this, go to a reputable Body Mod shop. I would strongly not recommend getting the DIY kit. I would venture to say that the type of woman that would be attracted to that would be a younger one, but I could be completely wrong. Also, keep in mind the possible repercussions of having a mod on your face. This may decrease your odds of getting a certain job. Whether you like it or not, people judge other people based on appearance.

Edge Tattoo is a shop near you http://www.edgetattoos.com/, check them out. Don't be afraid to talk to the piercer about it. Shop around, if you don't like the shop, go to another one. Be careful, I've seen some messed up infections come out of poorly done piercings.

id assume more rocker type girls would be into it usually they are younger. I also have heard of some bad infections my friend knows someone that was forced to get it pulled out of their eyebrow with pliers because it got infected and jamed in the skin. Id seriously suggest going to a really good place to get it done... dont go for the cheapest you can find.

I'm not sure how much that specific piercing hurts, so I'd keep asking till you talk to several people that have had it done (not just one, cause you get people with bad experiences). Some piercings hurt a lot, like my nipple was quite painful, but then the endorphines kicked in after about 5 seconds and I was so high that I don't remember more than 5 minutes of the trip home. Some piercings barely hurt at all though, so just the fact that it's a piercing doesn't = pain.

As far as who is interested in them, there really isn't any group you can point to. Sure, there are people that are more into it than others and you will probably find that younger people will have a higher percentage of approval, but that doesn't mean that girls in their 40's might not find it appealing as well, or just not care and overlook whether you have one or not. I've got a decent number of piercings and I've never had a girl tell me she wasn't interested because of them, they all seem to find them fascinating.

The one thing I do know about eyebrows, is they have the highest rejection rate of any piercing you can get. That means that it has the highest chance that your body will decide it doesn't like the piercing and will attempt to slowly push it out of your body, the same way it does with a sliver. Doesn't hurt or anything, but slowly and surely it pushes it towards the surface and leaves a trail of scar tissue along the way. I don't have any definite statistics and I know many people that have had them for years without any problem, but if you do go through with it, make sure to pay attention and if you find that it seems to be moving towards the surface, remove it so that you aren't left with a piece of your eyebrow with a scar that can't grow hair anymore.
