I have been trying to think of some good peacocking items but can seem to figure it out

Im not the type who is going to wear a crazy hat or any out there ridiculous but im open to suggestions

Preferably I am looking for something simple yet can grab the attention of a girl

Something like a ring seems like it would help but wouldnt garner enough attention too be noticed or to have a women to come over herself

What have you guys found that works the best??

Thanks! this site is awesome btw!!!

I'd say a strange Necklace (like the shark tooth), an exotic looking wristband and perhaps a ring.

Firstly, I would say get the normal bits of your outfit perfect. Fit especially. If the outfit fits perfectly and is the right coloru scheme for your complexion and hair colour then you're instantly going to look better than most guys on the street.

After that, I would suggest making sure that peacocking is congruent with the outfit. One of the easiest ways of doing this is to keep most of the outfit plain (no patterns) with neutral colours. Then add something like a brightly coloured tie or pocket square, or necklace or one of those plastic watches that is a bright colour that just adds a bit of pattern and bright colour. It still goes with the outfit but stands out.

Find something you do that you want to show off to people and make an accessory out of that. For example if you play guitar make a necklace out of a pick. I like to travel and over the summer I went to Berlin, so I wear around a piece of the Berlin wall. People see this random rock hanging from my neck and naturally ask what it is. Instant story. What hobbies do you have?

I think slightly extrapolated versions of your own style works. For example, I like to wear a lot of suits/shirts, so last night I went out wearing a leopard print shirt! It was amazing and worked so well. I also tried rings and purchased this really tacky ring that was not me at all, something with a mustache and monocle. It was terrible and I wished I had purchased something plainer but it still worked as an opener.

I think rings are amazing as subtle peacocking because after a while you can slip a ring onto her to compare hand sizes (all kino) and walk away get a drink, come back and have her locked in because of the very same ring.

I really agree with 7000 on this one though. The shirt I purchased looks weird to strangers but has a cool slick style to it, and fits amazingly. I have never had a woman walk up to me and call me sexy before but last night I had a couple! Fit is important!

I play guitar. I wear Eddie van halen shoes. Red with black and white stripes converse all stars. Chicks don't notice them, but when dudes do the chicks who are with them take instant notice.

I dress kind as a cross between Johnny Depp and Russell Brand. I love the bohemian look with jewellery and particularly rings.

The most frequent compliment I have ever received is on how women love my dress sense. I don't look like a LAD (British term for lager swilling, shirt, jeans and loafers misogynist thugs) so women, particularly intelligent ones, have a lot more time for me and don't instantly judge me.

Lower value men than me have called me gay and said I dress like a fag (i have been known to wear eyeliner) but I laugh it off with total confidence, which raises my value. I don't like to look like everybody else and being totally comfortable with this exudes confidence.

Being stylish isn't bad. Peacock theory works but, typically, it stems from insecurity. If people are desperate for attention, join the gay pride parade or dress in drag. Sure, it gets attention but, its not real.

I feel like I should probably stop posting about this but whatever. Check out Chubbies shorts (don't look at the images until you get to their main page or you're in for nightmares). These things are getting big and if you have some sick thighs you aren't just peacocking but showing sexual confidence and the girls come flocking. Good luck!

I normally wear shirts from here. http://www.threadless.com/ I go for a dandy style (girly) to show that I have a feminine side. I don't count this as a "peacock item" Just a basis of the style I go for.

Peacock Items
I normally wear http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_ ... ep%20bands these to color match. I use the color wheel.

This is more complex. But I also take a tie and stick it out of my right hip.. If I was a clock and my cock is 12 It would be between 1 and 2. With the broad side out. If you take a bread twist tie, you can roll up the part that is normally hidden and that hangs on the inside and it won't come out the bottom of your pant legs. This tie also to match the shirt to the color wheel. Normally a silk solid color works best for me. I focus on passion/dandy colors. Reds, oranges, purples. Many women ask "can I stroke it?" or some variation. I always say yes.. but refuse to give them eye contact when they do. Because they think all men would pounce at them at any chance.. you separate yourself from he rest.

I wear a fedora frequently.

If I wear a watch, it always matches my shoes. Not to the color wheel. Blue and gray shoes equals blue and gray watch. Orange and gray watch equals orange and gray shoes. http://www.10dollarmall.com/list/mens-c ... 10-dollars <<watches for 10 dollars or less.

Notes. I NEVER peacock two items anymore unless one is a watch. It looks like you are trying too hard.
