Not all of us are 6'2" or around 180cm with 6 pack abs and look great in every piece of clothing out there.
These are just some tips on how to dress better in everyday life, not nesecarily when sarging. If you are too short, tall and skinny, or have man boobs this thread is designed to help dress better. Several of these tips may even help your peacocking.
Im 5'6" 200lbs. I have had to learn how to dress for my body style because nobody makes jeans in my size. Im no fashion expert, but Ive read alot of magazines and i know a few things.
Heavier guys: Darker clothes will be your friend. You can shrink your gut by wearing a dark shirt with a lighter jacket on top. If you have a black/brown shirt, wear a grey or khaki jacket on top. Visually it takes away from your mid section. Wearing a dark button up shirt with bright buttons creates a verticle line that lengthens your torso. Makes you look taller and skinnier. Subtle verticle lines in sweaters and button up will visually slim you down. Cargo pants make people look more towards your legs and keeps the focus off of your gut.
Short guys: Avoid things like a dark shirt with light pants or jeans. Visually it cuts you into short blocks of color wich makes you look even shorter. An example is white shoes, with light jeans, a dark belt and a dark shirt. Instead go for darker jeans with complimenting dark shoes, a dark verticle striped shirt and a dark jacket. The idea is to look like a one solid block instead of a bunch of chopped short blocks. Thinner Ties (3" or less) work really well to add height as well. No baggy pants. You end up looking even shorter. Longer coats will also make you seem shorter than what you are.
Skinny guys: Add size with layers and thick sweaters. Avoid v - necks. A lighter colored shirt under a darker sweater will help add bulk. Seek out thick knits, like wool. It will help add size. Wear horizontal striped shirts, it will creat the illusion of a wider upper body. This goes for everyone, but especially skinny guys. Make sure that your shirt fits well in the shoulders and tapers well when tucked in. You dont want to look like you are swimming in your shirt. No baggy pants. They will make you look smaller than you already are.
Man-boobs: A great tool is under-armour. If worn under your shirts it will help hide your boobage. Nike and Calvin Klein makes the lycra t-shirts too.
No neck or thick neck: Choose a v-neck or keep your top two buttons undone. Turtle necks will just make your neck look wider.
Thin neck: Wear crew neck t-shirts. They create a horizontal line accross your shoulders that makes your neck look thicker. When trying on button up shirts there should only be enough room for one finger to comfortably fit in between your skin and the fabric.
Hope this helps
