I was watching Scrubs a night or 2 ago and it struck me that the actor who plays Dr Cox (John C. McGinley) is a perfect example of Alpha male...almost over the top.

He exhibits great C&F, is definatly the leader (even over his boss and his sedistic wife), says whats on his mind and doesnt feel sorry for it...and people try and be around him...even look upto him.

His body language isnt an over the top exaple like say Brad Pitt in Fight Club, but its good.

If you have never seen the show or even if you have but never thought about it, i say pull up an episode or 2 on the TV or Web and pay attention to this character.

Yeah, totally Dr. Cox. He's a bit too much of an asshole, but he's still really good.

Mister GQ, you totall look like the black guy in the show (can't remember his name).

Well, of course I have to put my 2 pennies in here....

Of course Brad Pitt and Sean Connery are great examples of Alpha males, but I've noticed for some time that Dr. Christian Troy(Julian Mcmahon) on the show Nip/Tuck is another good example. Trust me, I don't get impressed by too many actor's charisma, but he definitely got my attention...

Turk. Doctor Chris Turk. Or Turk Turkelton if you're a drunk Dr. Kelso.

I love that show...

Tom Cruise in Top Gun.

Young, brash, direct, alpha.

We'll just forget about that whole jumping on Oprah's couch thing.

haha you guys digress...my point in this post was to point out an example of a very C&F Alpha character to which there are many examples to see (since its a TV show and has been runnin a while).

He is sometimes more cocky then funny...but i love how he has a pet name for everyone, alwyas has some witty retort to someone, can read people, and doesnt let anything phase him. Despite being kinda an ass...he still shows a soft side and does the right thing many times.

Was just trying to point out an often overlooked character who is alpha and not well known.

PS: Mister GQ you definatly do look like Turk...i noticed it a while ago but have been holding it in. Its ok people have been telling me for years i look like Justin Timberlake...adding the fedora to my head doesnt help :(

Entourage has some great characters.
Vincent Chase for the laid back, west-coast vibe.
Ari gold for the hard-driving alpha
