This may already be a thread somewhere, but typing 'drink' into the search in a forum about pick up brings up too many results to sort through.

My question is, what do people think is the best drink to have at a club? In my opinion, holding a pint of beer can possibly make you look like just another lager lout, and also makes your breath smell. Red wine discolours your teeth and lips. Anything with redbull gives you death breath. Anything too strong will make you drunk and ruin your game.

Would drinking a fancy cocktail be a form of peacocking for example? Or would one stick to something generic like a vodka and coke or a jack and coke for example? Personally my favourite drink is a gin and tonic but many people joke that its an old womans drink!
